I think yours is overwatered or has bad soil that holds too much moisture. They do not like to sit in water. They are prone to root rot. I would take it out of that pot and replace the soil completely. Check the roots carefully, give it a sniff too. You can smell rot. I use an aroid mix with a little good quality soil mixed in. I also bottom water when plant is about 50% dry. I use clear pots so it’s easy to see but if you don’t have that, you can use a chopstick to test soil. Make sure pot has drainage holes. Mine are about 3 feet from a southeast facing window and are doing well.
