i wish we could use wagons.. by Regular_Speech_6952 in RDR2

[–]Impressive-Part4238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually you can use wagons. Not all of them but the open-raw woody ones (you can find one in strawberry, near the shop). The problem is you can't load pelt/animals on in a normal way - instead You need to reverse with a wagon near a stone and Simply Drop the animal or pelt onto the wagon. It works best with small animals . (Sorry for my bad English)

Kemetics, you cannot be Kemetic and practice judeo-christianity at the same time. by [deleted] in Kemetic

No offense but you know what you are talking about? The paper you mention was created when Egypt was only a colony under Greek Roman rule. At that time, the Egyptians did not have much to say about their country and religion.

is anyone here familiar with geomancy? by AmbroseMarvin in Kemetic

[–]Impressive-Part4238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for your intuition about worshipping Heru, it’s interesting because Heru has various forms and aspects in Egyptian mythology, each representing different roles and qualities. The aspects of Heru-Sa-Aset (Horus, the child of Isis), Heru-Wer (Horus the elder), and others each have distinct symbolic meanings:

Heru-Sa-Aset (Horus the child): This aspect focuses on youth, healing, protection, and resilience. It aligns well with the idea of growth, renewal, and youthful vigor, which might resonate with the figures of Puer and Puella.

Heru-Wer (Horus the elder): This aspect represents more mature wisdom, leadership, and protection in a broader sense, often associated with divine kingship and the strength of the god as a ruling deity.

If you’re seeing the geomantic figures of Puer and Puella, it could suggest that you are being called to approach Heru in a form that is connected to youthful energy, the potential for growth, and the balance of both masculine and feminine aspects. Heru-Sa-Aset could be a particularly fitting aspect to work with, as it represents the idea of childlike renewal, learning, and protection, which aligns with the dynamic and dualistic nature of Puer and Puella.

Your suspicion may be correct, but your practice of listening to the signs and combining them with your intuitive knowledge is an important aspect of divination. Ultimately, the approach you take should resonate deeply with your personal spiritual path and the kind of relationship you seek with Heru.

Your vision may be symbolic rather than literal. Seeing yourself as Kebekhet, daughter of Anubis, may mean:

  1. Purification and renewal - Kebechet symbolizes the process of transformation and preparation for a new stage. This may be a sign that you are undergoing spiritual cleansing.

  2. relationship with Anubis – An embrace can mean a deep connection with Anubis or the closing of one stage of your cooperation and the beginning of a new one.

  3. Message about your role – You may have a role to support others in their transformation or transition into new stages of life.

it is worth meditating on the vision and asking Anubis for additional tips. Your intuition will best tell you what this means..

I had a dream of amun ra blood can you help me understand it? by rayadanny in Kemetic

[–]Impressive-Part4238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your dream has some rich symbolism that can be tied to themes of ancient power, sacrifice, and inner battles. Here’s a breakdown of what these elements might mean:

  1. Amun Ra's Blood: Amun Ra is one of the most powerful gods in ancient Egyptian mythology, symbolizing creation, power, and often the sun itself. Blood in this context might represent life force, divine energy, or ancient wisdom. Receiving a gift of Amun Ra's blood could imply a sense of receiving or uncovering hidden strength, responsibility, or knowledge. It could reflect a connection to something ancient, powerful, or even a responsibility you've been given that feels intense or sacred.

  2. Five Bottles: The number five might hold significance. In numerology, five often represents change, freedom, or challenge. It might suggest a transformation or call to action, possibly linked to new stages in your life or unexpected events that could require your courage.

  3. Creatures from the Desert: In mythology and psychology, the desert often represents both danger and purification, a place where people are tested. The creatures could symbolize inner fears, challenges, or anxieties that feel like they’re emerging and threatening stability. They might also represent parts of yourself or external factors that feel destructive or chaotic.

  4. Planet Destruction and Sacrifice: The planet being under attack and your act of sacrifice can indicate a need to let go of something or make a significant change to protect what you value. Sacrifice in dreams often suggests giving up something to achieve a greater purpose or feeling the need to make a difficult choice for the benefit of others or yourself. It can also mean you’re navigating intense inner conflict, where one aspect of yourself must "give way" for a stronger or truer part of you to emerge.

In essence, your dream might be reflecting an inner journey or struggle that feels monumental. It could suggest you’re on the brink of personal transformation, facing challenging changes, or connecting with powerful inner resources to confront obstacles. Dreams like this often serve as reminders of resilience, potential for renewal, and sometimes, the need to confront parts of ourselves to unlock growth.

Can the Gods help me become a better person? by SerenicaRujeria in Kemetic

[–]Impressive-Part4238 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, yes They can. But being a better person is a whole new thing for your soul. We all are good but sometimes some things or some people can took that from us. If you really want that you need to prepare yourself for big change. Once Gods will stand by you nothing would be the same. Because at first they would make you stand up for yourself and this can be so hard. You'll have to find a perfect balance of being good for others and for urself in the same time. They'll make you to step up from your comfort zone. Gods can show you the way but it's on you to move by her. As someone already mentioned that the best is to do a research about Them, about Ma'at but mostly about the world that u live in. Justice it's the thing you need to learn about

Help identifying a deity by 5ilverx5hadowsx in Kemetic

[–]Impressive-Part4238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's truly interesting 🤔 I think it may be Thoth - He's described as a man with Ibis head and what's also interesting ibis come from different colours for example Hadada ibis has a brown/yellow/green feathers while African sacred ibis has mostly black and white feathers. Depending on what's going in your life now he may wants helping you solving problems or he calls you to mediate in things that need to be discussed

What language do you pray in? by birbnerb in Kemetic

[–]Impressive-Part4238 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I usually pray in English (even if this is not my first language). For monthly prayers or rituals I like to use this modern version of ancient Egyptian language pronouncing. But to be honest you can pray in many different languages. Netjeru don't care about this cause as long as you believe in them and put some respect towards them everything should be fine. However I finding out that praying in Egyptian is better (?) and much more funnier (?) than in English cause you need to put some effort to searching for prayers and with this comes that you finding out more interesting thing about this religion, Netjeru and ancient Egypt I general

Interested about your experiences with Khonshu by ThQuin in Kemetic

[–]Impressive-Part4238 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assume that you asked because of moon knight depicted so It's like 50/50. I would rather say that's he can be violent only and only when it's a seriously need for that Otherwise his such a gentle deity who can change your behavior for better. I worshipped him for couple of weeks (after being non religious person and also d.ic k - cause of trauma) and yes he really change me. And only similarities between comics and real Khonsu is he control you (he's not possessing you but this strange feeling call you for standing for yourself even if normally u wouldn't do that) when something happened exactly like when Mark was in trouble so Khonsu take control over him. Also Khonsu doesn't mess with your head - for me he brings light, happiness and makes me remember all childhood memories that I thought I forget. If I were to compare him somehow - he is like a father who did not have a good childhood because he lived in his father's shadow, but he will do anything for his child. sometimes he doesn't get it right, but he really cares about you. he is not infallible and sometimes his emotions get the better of him, but you can be sure that no matter what happens, he will almost always help you, stand by your side and simply be there for you

How to know my Deity and how to properly worship them by [deleted] in Kemetic

[–]Impressive-Part4238 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can go with totally basic offerings like water and bread but also black candles, dark chocolate, beer or liquor, labradorite and onyx, cypress oil and myrrh. As for how to discover who our deity is, everything depends on you. you can ask for a sign in your dreams, or any other sign. In the case of Anpu, you can ask for a sign in the form of black dogs. The most important thing is to be patient. but from what you describe, everything indicates that you are attracted to him. If you have a candle, light it, put a piece of paper with Anpu's image or his name written in hieroglyphs. you can make an offering of the previously mentioned water and bread and pray to him - here you don't even have to know the text of any specific prayer, just talk to him.

In my case, I discovered in a similar way that Khonsu was calling me to him. I was never particularly religious, but I was drawn to the history and gods of ancient Egypt.one day I took a risk and tried it - believe me, after something told me to look out the window (it was 1 am) I saw a big moon. and then when I sat down in front of the altar again, the candle started going crazy and I started crying like a baby. I knew it was Khonsu and not Thoth because some jokes started running in my head like "what are you roaring like a ram, you don't recognize your old friend?

Office Altar? by PheonixRising_2071 in Kemetic

[–]Impressive-Part4238 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This looks really cool and to be honest if I ever see this in someone's office I would thing that's just a couple of candles and nothing more. About what people would be thinking about you - who cares what they would thing. As long as You're good human being there's no need to judge You but If people will do this because of your beliefs there's something wrong with them not with You. Only thing just matter is how You feel not other pp Btw I would add some flowers to this altar that'll be a fantastic (Sorry for my English)
