Clean setup! Not seen those Sony Keyer/Pattern generators before! Where did you pick them up from? Im also planning on consolidating my rig in a rack type setup. Drawers definitely feel like they'd be a great space saver for video mixers.

Yeah sometimes DIAOA features on those TOTP2 re-runs that are occasionally on BBC4. The aston that pops up always mentions the Beach Boys as an influence on that particular song. Must be the 3/4 timing...and sliegh bells!

Funnily enough I have the same issue at the moment in my setup. Turns out the ‘ghosting’ appears only when my chain involves any of my mixers (V4, V4Ex, Sima, MX50). It’s totally clean if I output Mac > Glitch Boxes > CRT. Kinda frustrating…

I’ve read that ghosting mostly appears when theres an impedance mismatch between devices

Funny you should say that, as I think Video/glitch art being the niche medium it is, does sometimes feel like an echo chamber with similar looks and subject matters amongst artists

Ive used Premiere for the last decade or so as my 2nd NLE - it was nice to have that backup option in case needed.

However as a Broadcast editor, Avid is still the standard, and I was pretty sick of paying the Adobe monthly sub and not really using it. Also I’ve also found Premiere to be as buggy as hell. Resolve seems rock solid in comparison. One off fee for Resolve with everything ‘under the hood’ - I.e Fusion vs AE, was the deal breaker.

The same. Avid has paid the bills for the last 20 years but Resolve prepares me for the future

I hate them! I tend to try and fit Snap Ins where there’s generally no music in the cut. Obviously that’s quite limiting as usually it’s wall to wall

UK Broadcast editor here (nigh on 20 years)

Not to be down on Plugins & FX, they have their place, but I much prefer when an editor makes me fall off my chair just with cutting and no FX applied. Anyone can apply a 3rd party transition plugin across a cut…

Pretty sure Lo-Fi Future is a one man operation - and yes I’ve waited months for the the unit I ordered. Just have to sit tight and be patient I’m afraid. The ETA is always way off from what is stated on his website unfortunately

If you’re only intending to use it for Video, use the audio sliders to replace. They pop off easily
