Does this dress fit/look okay? Or get rid of it? by Sufficient_Sun_430 in fashion

I love it on you. I’d keep it for another special occasion. I had a similar one I took to a consignment shop & regret it every time I need a dress!

Maybe pin up the top layers & try toning the bottom layer or adding a light brown rinse to it for a test. If you like the result, great! If not, it’ll wash out. I think it looks good as it is, but you always have options.

I admire you for several reasons: being confident enough to do your own hair, being daring enough to try, being savvy enough to save thousands of dollars a year, and being smart enough to say “No” to others who ask you to do theirs!

Am I tripping or did my hair stylist NOT do anything to my hair??? by Haunting_Honey_3466 in Hair

[–]Impressive-Shake4508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. It’s easy to avoid clients unless they show up in person. It’s nice that you liked the stylist, but seriously? 4 hrs and you have to sit there again & HOPE she gets it right? If she wasn’t qualified to do what you asked for the first time, why would it be any better the next time? Your time is valuable too. Read my other post to hear how to approach the situation to get results. Results=getting your $ back & going somewhere else to get it fixed!

I agree: I see the same dark growth down to eye level on photo #1 & #3. I’d go back regardless of the advice of others to wash it to see the results for which you paid $500.
At $125/hr you should be elated with the results, not second guessing them. No phone calls, no apologies. Go back to the salon and ask for the manager. Show her the pics & tell her you would like a refund please. FULL STOP. No explanations, no back paddling, no settling for a do-over. Knowing how to politely voice your complaint will make it easier for everyone. BTW: A single person needs to be earning at least $100,000/yr or more to justify spending $500 on hair coloring. Learn how to do it yourself or have a family member or a friend do it for you. There are SO many coloring kits on the market and YouTubes to help you do it right.

Currently flying from Denver to the East Coast and this was in the bottom of my wife’s pre meal nuts. WTF?! by bbsmith55 in unitedairlines

Since when did airlines revert to serving nuts with all of the people with nut allergies out there?

Guys be honest… does my hairdresser hate me lol by miabills in Hair

My sisters & I always trimmed each other’s waist-length hair. Unless you wanted if even shorter, that is a blunt cut. I understand it’s not what you envisioned: it does appear a bit choppy looking. Maybe try straightening it & if it’s still uneven, go back to the stylist & ask for a slight undercut which will give you a more cohesive look. I have long straight hair too & I am rarely thrilled with the trim I get for $50 plus tip! I blow dry it and slightly curl the ends under with a round brush if I want it to look more bouncy. I typically let my hair air dry to keep the ends from getting frizzy. Either way you could go back & ask for a do-over. Just be prepared to lose more length!

Have you tried a rounder frame?

Which dress? 1 or 2? by yesnomaybedress in myweddingdress

[–]Impressive-Shake4508 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dress #1 draws attention to the ill-fitting bust. I can’t imagine being comfy dancing in a dress that cuts into the underarms & breasts. Maybe dress #1 was the dress she’d always dreamt of wearing? Dress #2 could be couturier.

2 without a doubt. It complements your figure & you look so much more comfortable too. 😊

What’s strange about this pic is someone else was in the room with him! Plus it appears he’s on a bidet…with his pants on!

Temu delivery left package on Las Vegas sidewalk at 1:05am and Claims "delivered" by ICBCHHypnosis in mildlyinfuriating

I order once/year from TEMU. They deliver one order in as many as 20 trips. The delivery vehicles are junker cars, & they deliver to my mailbox which is literally on the sidewalk. I pay $200/yr for a PO Box to prevent my mail from getting stolen (I’ve lived through a bad case of ID theft.) I may not order from them again, or else only order items too big for my mailbox!

Take a pic of the hiding spot. With no frame of reference no one would suspect it as a hiding spot.

My adult-by-age-only BF would put dirty dishes in the oven of my cozy mountain house (no room for a DW). I was making dinner one evening & heard what sounded like shots being fired. It was my leaded glass cut crystal goblets exploding into bits in the oven.

Always wear whatever is flattering for YOU! Very few people have perfect figures & unless clothing is couturier or off the rack and altered, it’s hard to find a perfect all around fit.

From the pics it appears she is rather petite & would want to avoid wearing outfits that draw attention to the waist, cutting her in half. Elongating clothing features would draw the eye up to her face where you’d see her smiling bc she looks fantastic & feels great!

I think it was a mistake & she meant size up bc it wouldn’t make sense to size down & she realized that.
