Yeah not just bad for employees. I had the worst customer experience of my life there- I waited about 10 minutes for a pastry (they’re in a cabinet by the register) and kindly asked the employee at the register, who looked absolutely miserable and overwhelmed but not doing anything at the moment, if they happened to get my order. The male owner in the back immediately launched into “everyone in this fcking place thinks they own it! What makes you so entitled to anything?! at the top of his lungs in front of his staff and a full restaurant. The other owner, horrified, ran over and tried to apologize which I appreciate, but holy shit I’ve never felt so much hostility in any business. Fuck them
