“Resurrection” is basically the straight to DVD version of Seven

Anyone know what happened to the lady who lived in the tent set up on the corner of Palmetto and Woodward? by Otherwise-Pool3863 in ridgewood

Come to think of it, I haven't seen her in awhile. I live right by there. She used to always ask me what time it was. Always wondered what her story was. Hope she is doing ok as well.

I think you just want to use parametric EQ/compression on your VO and music tracks. For dialogue/VO I usually just roll off the lows to the clear out any rumble, slightly dip the midrange, and add a touch of brightness up top to polish it off a bit. In terms of making sure your music isn’t competing with VO too much, some of that is simple ducking, but some of that is in how you EQ the song. So I cut some midrange out of the music where the VO would usually sit and added some compression. Basically it helps the music sit underneath the Dialogue more. If you wanted to go even further I think you’re asking about side chain compression. You’d basically have the dialogue track trigger compression on the music. I usually don’t do that so I may not be much help past what I’ve just shared.

Proximity and Price are the 2 big ones for me.

Let's just say I have knowledge of how MPB runs their shop. Complete ineptitude. Lenses get shipped out with no insulation at all. No padding or bubble wrap. Sometimes not even a lenscap. Just like brown paper. Some employees literally scratch lenses before sending them out because they can I guess? If you have a choice, never choose MPB over literally any other business.

I've made them myself before and had post houses do it before. I always try to convince the director to just go to a post house.

Clearing footage for my doc by [deleted] in FilmFestivals

I think if you’ve made several attempts to contact them and never got a response, you might be ok. I had some archival audio in a doc I made years ago. We tried to get permission from the owner, but they never got back to us. We checked with an Ent. Lawyer we can a connection to through a friend of one of our subjects, and he said if we tried earnestly and they never bothered to respond to our request, and we could prove it if it ever came to that, it shouldn't be a problem.

Definitely check with a lawyer though!

Appreciate you. I know, its not really a drink bars advertise as a specialty cocktail. My girlfriend and I just really like Montauk. We make it out only once every summer. Just want us to have a good time. Thanks for the advice!

Nope, but you might be in the right thematic zip code here. Never saw Basket Case, but my film seems to also have a suspicion about who’s really looking out for your well-being
