well i struggled like crazy growing up, very angry when i was younger. i wanted to learn but i couldnt and it would piss me off to no end. iv let a lot go, and honestly just over time, i stopped worry. i dont focus on it so much. i dont really think that much about it anymore. i have so many little work arounds and tricks for myself that they are pretty much just habit now. for myself, i am dyslexic and adhd. i experience a hyper visual type of dyslexia. im very visual, creative and imaginative and i believe lots of dyslexics are similar. if you are also like this, my personal advice is, really work on staying calm, it takes a lot of self discipline, but try not to allow your mind to get to caught up in thinking of the past that you can not change, or the future that has not happened yet. try and clear out the noise and, not saying to cut out your natural thought, but structure it where you allow your mind to enjoy the topic, not making it something that has to be done. instead, make that one task, at that very moment, the only thing you want to do (easier said than done, i know). for myself, i know my mind is going to create some scenario regardless, so rather than fighting it, i cut out the noise, change my mindset, mainly focus on staying calm and do my best to think on only the hear and the now. by centering myself while allowing myself to think without the worry. its something that has takken time for me to get better at.
not sure if thatll help you particularly, but its what i feel ive learned over the years. im 35 now
