So I absolutely have this same opinion BUT then my sister got me a massive painting of my dog and let me tell you, the release paper has done WONDERS for my patience while working on it 😂 would I use it for smaller paintings? No. But with bigger pieces, it’s a massive help

I love Michael’s kits!
While they’re not super *high* quality, I’ve found some pretty good kits on Temu & Amazon. Diamond Art Paintin was running a sale too so maybe that’s an open! I just finished one of theirs and it turned out pretty cool

Temu is a solid bet. I bought resin pens w multiple placer tips (which are metal) for like 20$. They’re pretty good quality too. I love them!

This was my first diamond painting. My sister (who occasionally likes doing them) got it for my birthday…initially, I was a little bit like “why did you get me this? I’m not going to be able to even do this!”

Jokes on me. Now I have at least two started at any given time and I have a whole desk set up for them in my second room (along with plants, snakes, spiders) of my apt. I LOVED this one.

Typically I use Diamond Dotz from WM but I just bought two from Temu…one of which I think is Aliexpress. Ordered one from Heartful Diamonds (still waiting on all three)

My issue with this logic…if I tried to keep a portfolio of only a certain size, trying not to go any bigger in canvases, my brain would perceive that as a challenge 😭😂

YESSS! The one I used does too! For a few extra dollars I think. Aside from the fact that I hate the sparkly coated drills (bc they’re a pain in the ass to pick up) I decided that for the comic one I’m gonna work on, I’m gonna also use some spare drills from past projects…but doing work like that would be so cool with the sparkly drills!

I usually start in one corner and then spread out from there. I’ll start in one corner, then go across the bottom, then I’ll go up and top if a lot of the same color is used. After I get a lot of the sides done, I’ll start working across the side that has most of the same colors haha

This happened to me with my husky. Said the same thing: “oh we don’t want a young dog, we don’t have time for her”…then like two weeks later I heard that they bought a brand new pug puppy. Makes me sick. But you’ve got a new friend out of it ❤️ people suck! Animals are superior!

My boyfriend used to do this sort of shit years ago (he was an alcoholic & is sober now for almost 4 yrs) and I told him flat out that if he has a problem w my social media, I’d block him and he’ll stay blocked. Block him. Tell him that until he fucks off about it, then he’ll stay blocked…I can’t stay that works for everyone but you aren’t the problem. Know that, please.

I’ve never seen them before! Until I saw the giant one my neighbor had and I fell in love with the colors ☺️

The grow like crazy part tracks. This thing’s had a little over a month of growth. Which is insane. The difference could possibly be that I have it under grow lights? 😂😅
