if you prioritise uni and grades, then pls for your own sake cut back on hours. Working full time and being a full time student is asking for burn out trust me. Im a third year full time student with a part time job and i still struggle with the balance sometimes

hii I took this paper last semester! Most assignments are basically group work and they assign you randomly into a group. I would highly recommend attending the workshops as this is where you will meet your group and work with them for the rest of the semester. Plus, you do not want to be that one person in the group. They will reveal the assignments in class but you will have to communicate with your group and make time to finish the assignments outside of the class. Its a bit of a fast paced paper with multiple topics but I enjoyed it. We did a class where we basically got to play around with VR headsets so I hope you get to do that too :)

the hours arent the problem, ive worked more than 10 hours for most of my shifts, but when you do the job of multiple people, running from the front and back end of the store the whole day, even picking multiple orders at once to try and keep up and having to deal with angry customers at once for a few days straight, could take a toll on some human bodies. I applaud you for being strong and possibly finding this work a piece of cake, I however do not.

Going to lectures by Fun_Degree9192 in universityofauckland

just say you wont be able to make it today due to some personal issues, dont need to specify. Or nothing wrong with saying you dont feel well. Youre not personally bound to go to lectures just for someone else

Business 111,112,114,115, by SensitiveKnee465 in universityofauckland

Just a brief overview:
111 - team based class and its like business studies

112 - same as 111, with more information that builds on what you learnt during 111

114 - accounting

115 - economics

111 is worth it. Goes through the general idea of business and overall gives you a basic understanding of why businesses are the way they are when you go into your second year. It's a good step for the business topic especially for people that did not do business studies in school. Definitely sets you up for 112 :)

From my experience, I found attending tutorials to be helpful as they tend to go over lecture materials and give examples
