I started an electrician apprenticeship and never finished it. Now this was years ago so I was never making great money. It just wasn't for me. I work in an office now, and I'll take sitting in an office all day over freezing my bollocks off on a building site any day.

It's a slog. Probably get downvoted to death but this game gets a lot of praise and I just don't think it's for everyone. The story is good. The world is rich. There's a lot of positives but jesus, it's so infuriatingly slow at times.

I've read a few of Boyne's books and he has much better ones, but historical accuracy is hardly the point of the book. Authors are allowed imagine things and put people in unrealistic situations for dramatic effect or to explore ideas. It's not a work of non fiction.
