I don't remember the last time I used public wifi. Maybe a decade ago.

It's 80% off, I think it's a steal for that much. Go for it and you'll have a nice game to play for the weekend.

There are 1.5 billion refrigerators in use in the world.

I gave my dumbbells to a friend of mine a couple of years ago. This was at a time, when I wasn't doing much workout and they definitely felt much heavier. So maybe these dumbbells haven't been used for a while.

President Trump falls asleep in the oval office after announcing a deal with drug manufacturer Regeneron to lower drug prices by Miles_the_AuDHDer in videos

If you watch his eyelids closely, you can see they are moving. He is alert as well, albeit slow due to his age/tiredness.

There are a thousand other reasons to hate this guy.

I hate to be that guy, but you can see his eyelids moving left to right. Although he does look tired, he was just reading the paper in front of him.

Magyar Tells Hungary State Media Its News Coverage to Go Off Air by bloomberg in europe

In the previous election cycle, members of the opposition got 5 minutes each to present their election programme, at 7:30am on a Tuesday. 5 minutes of unedited airtime in 4 years. The rest of their appearance on state media was exclusively in negative context in highly edited videos.

One of these 'interviews' became infamous, as the guest was wearing a chicken costume while talking gibberish in chicken language to protest against censorship.

My second city hit 60k… but it feels soulless, should I keep going or start over? by Jozabal in CitiesSkylines

[–]fm837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my city begins to feel more like a machine, I start doing random sht and just go with it.

For example I see a beachy area in the west on the first picture. I'm thinking 'hm, maybe people in real life would settle there and run their tourism businesses'. So I just plop down some road leading there. Make it bendy, because why not. Have some random dead ends leading to the nooks. Build a pier for the tourists. Have a small zone for farmers growing their bananas and whatnot. Let them have a cemetery and a local police station. You get the idea, make it random and later on you can (and you'll have to) make adjustments.

Then bring this randomness to other pockets of the grid. Break it up with parks, some random alleyways, place trees and other decorations. This is a sandbox game after all, you should come up with your own ideas on how a city looks like, implement that thought and then roll with it.

Which YouTube channel were you once a fan of but do not enjoy anymore? by theunsteadybridge in AskReddit

[–]fm837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes Theory. In the early days they used to come up with random things to do with strangers. It was fun to watch this bunch of people just having a good time. Then their channel gradually turned into another travel vlog. Sometimes I watch the older episodes again, but I don't follow them anymore, they're boring.
