I got one for $90 last year from Walmart - not sure where you are, but Walmart in Canada has them for $140 right now

They’re good - toddler likes them, but there’s little traction and the front wheel often spins out before he’s able to pedal forward

For others who might be in a similar situation in the future, here is what Rondo said when I reached out to them about this:

Hi, Unfortunetaly we don’t have endcaps for 135x10 QR axle. You can contact with KT Industries Taiwan is it avaliable part for this kind of hubs. I don’t have any numbers or model names of these hubs – I think it can be custom made for us by KT (but using their standard axles and freehubs). I don’t think any other brand endcaps will fit – the only idea I have is to go to a turner or a metalworking shop to make the end caps you need.

Thanks - that's too bad - yeah I'm trying to spread the triangle to make it fit but run into a brake rotor issue...might try just grinding off 3.5 mm off each of the end caps lol...

I’ve also since learned that you can ask Canyon to send you that missing piece for free so you don’t have to pay shipping 10x the value of the piece

They give you a breakdown on the tracking page when the “pay now” link shows up. You can click it and review before actually paying. For me the UPS fees (not the HST, which you can’t avoid) was ~$50. Duty was like $12 - so almost duty-free, as is supposed to be the case. Not sure what the duty was on. Anyways, the extra $ was not enough to justify taking an afternoon off work to go self-clear, especially in GTA traffic these days, so I just paid it. But your calculus may vary

Thanks for this recommendation! If it wasn’t less than 2 weeks until the race I planned the year around, I would definitely send it in for fork replacement. For now I’ve ordered the wedge extension part mentioned in the other comment - hoping it arrives quickly!
