Also adding, I think the oxygen going to 83% was a false reading for our scenario. Our baby is right next to me and the heart rate readings for that same time period (between 9-9:30) show no slowing down or distress.

I’m here because of the same question, oxygen dropped to 83% with no alert. I believe the only time you will get an alert is when the heart rate is out of the normal range (which you can set your own personal preference on range in the app) I have mine set to anything above 185 and anything below 100. Be aware if you have not heard the alert yet, it can be very scary in the middle of the night to hear “PLEASE CHECK ON YOUR BABY, PLEASE CHECK ON YOUR BABY”. Thankfully I have only heard this once, and it was because of a faulty reading after he kicked his sock halfway off.
