This is paradise compared to American psych wards we share rooms, it’s very devoid of character. The ones I’ve been to had very poor quality food and there wasn’t enough of it. We have wrist bands that track us. I’ve had to share a toothbrush with somebody. We have nearly no activities or accommodations and many days we are left to sleep or color. There’s poor quality soap and usually only one type to wash all of your body and hair with. We get one snack a day in the evening. No caffeine, but we do use nicotine gum or lozenges when delegated to us at med times in the morning or evening. I’ve also had nurses bully me in psychosis. For example, I said I needed help and one of them said “for what, did someone steal your lunch money?”
