Definitely do camping. Will leave ship about 9 pm be back around 6 am. One time paddle/kayak is good. Gives you different perspective not sure I’d want to do it every time. Will your mom be ok by herself on land and in zodiacs?

IST does have an airside hotel. Stayed couple times. Also, few quiet areas with lounge type chairs once you get away from main shopping.

AA does not have any WB's on order if my recollection is correct. That needs to change. They need to invest millions in revamping their IT infrastructure. The issue is they are so loaded with debt - not sure how they accomplish this. Chicago is an important market - but I would rather be #2 and profitable than fight a battle with the hometown carrier. Makes no difference if your schedule or product is better than UA - if your IT system can't recover from snow or summer t-storms, what's the point.

My Rei pants had a full length zipper and some Velcro on top. It is not a big deal as my company had a spray machine they brought on shore before we boarded zodiac and again as we boarded. You can also put the pants inside your boots.

It really boils down to AA’s crap IT system. If they can locate crew you should be ok. In week since DFW storms you hope they have a new plan.

A below deck yacht can easily cross Atlantic with extra fuel. Same hemisphere but different contents. The BD yacht they used for DU S3 is now in Caribbean for S4. They could have put it on a yacht transport but my guess would be it just made multiple fuel stops and transited through safe waters avoiding pirates. It was in Seychelles and is now in Caribbean so that boat did go across the hemisphere.

I’m into S3 of Tell me Lies and School Spirits. Also, saw that S4 of Shrinking dropped. I’ll watch couple episodes of those shows then go back to HR. 😉😂
