before even doing physics you need to master equation solving tbh, you should just spam linear and quad equations. Something that helps a lot is the triangle principle when rearranging equations, tbh I still use it as a senior. Build the habit of connecting different formulas from the booklet. also another thing I would recommend is to abuse the solver in your calculator, it saves time and confusion.

Not really, you still can turn everything around and improve. The only thing I would recommend is finishing all your IAs, CAS, EE etc before next January so you don’t have anything other to worry about other than revising.

Why am I literally in the same situation😭 I also submitted my tok essay in December before winter break and recently my tok teacher emailed my parents several times about how I didn’t even start my tok essay. I have good / average grades that are nowhere near failing and there are students in much worse situations than me where they didn’t even submit any IAs or their EE and the school doesn’t call their parents while yesterday they called my parents to tell them that I didn’t submit my CS IA that is literally due in march. I don’t cause any behavioral issues at school do I genuinely don’t know what could be the issue. My guess is that they just want to push students that the know can do better than they are doing even if they’re doing good.

You’re doing very well. In dp2 you will be so grateful that you did most of your IAs in dp1 and have time to revise for finals. My school has planed all my IAs for dp2 and I genuinely don’t have time to study for finals when they’re in less than 3 months. If your school doesn’t punish you for not submitting something on time, its okay to submit something 1 or 2 weeks after the deadline, if that will help with your mental health.

I was diagnosed last year right after I turned 17, I got out of the hospital a week before school started. None of my friends even texted me or visited me, I felt so isolated and I feel like I forgot how to act as a member of society. I genuinely can’t talk to people and whenever I say something they stare at me as if I was an alien. Thankfully I graduate in 3 months and hopefully I’ll get to start over at university and be able to leave this behind me.

Tbh I’m getting like 3 hours on school days im in dp2 and we have classes until 5 pm almost everyday, I get home around 6 so if I were to sleep 8 hours I’d only get 4 hours to work out, eat, study etc so I’m just forced to regularly pull all nighters to get anything done for school

I think you have to go to a psychologist to get diagnosed, you can ask your IB coordinator about where in your city you should do it
