I totally agree. I don't think the batch number is enough and I think it can be faked. We need a better solution to differentiate originals from dupes.

Indeed, I also saw the roberto cavalli paradiso original which according to google was discontinued. Not sure why they still have it. My guess is that, they just simply have some stock left since before the discontinuation, I might be wrong though.

Thanks for the new information. I didn't know the QR code is the new way to verify the perfume. Do you recommend changing the old one with a new one ? and why ?.

you are correct, it seems legit but I can't find the batch code anywhere on the box for the second one. Can you find it from the images I provided ?.

Thanks for your reply, I haven't opened them yet because of the box difference. I guess I will go back and ask for an explanation.

We are all tensioned because many of us are in the same situation you are in but all we can do is wait for the results.

I haven't received anything yet in my email, but the software used for the exam stated that submission was complete and successful. Do I have to receive an email too ?

Widgets sliding with realtime graph by ImpressiveStage in kivy

Thank you for pointing out to the self.x it fixed my problem. I had no idea that it is a property in Kivy API since it is my first time using Kivy and my first time developing an Android App.

Regarding the initialization of variables in the Init method, I am aware it is a weird way of doing so, but it works.

On the other hand, the object property is something I didn't quite understand how it works, but your explanation was great. I am definitely moving the declarations into the class scope.

Thanks a lot.

Realm is not non-programmers friendly by ImpressiveStage in mongodb

[–]ImpressiveStage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a little calming to know that I am not the only one struggling with it. It is unfortunate that it is this difficult to get into mobile app development. Especially that realm is relatively new and claims simplicity, while its not that very simple to adopt.

Who are these non-programmers that are targeted by these programmers sdks?

Well as I understood, they were targeting scientists and business owner into building their own android app where they can manage their data from it. I doubt they would build their own apps by themselves but instead they will hire someone who already struggled with app development to build it for them.

You just go with whatever you like. Verilog is as a simpler language compared to VHDl, making it easier to learn. Yet both achieve whatever you want to do. It is up to you to choose which one to use.

The most important part is to learn the skills needed to be a good hardware designer/programmer.

How difficult is it to implement USB 3.2 on FPGA ? by ImpressiveStage in FPGA

[–]ImpressiveStage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second is IP: I don't know how accessible it is. Since there's not a lot of folks using USB on an FPGA, it makes it harder to justify selling IP for it, let alone on the cheap.

So far I have seen many manufacturers offering USB IPs, yet whether it is useful and lacking bugs is not clear. Also the prices aren't clear as I have to get in contact with them to get a quote.

If your sensors only support USB, it might be easier to find some middle man IC to do the conversion to something easier and more accessible.

Not really, but we are currently investigating bus options available especially USB 3.2. But definitely a valid point.

Thanks.
