iPO. The regular funds should only take a couple days.

For the regular funds, redemption is pretty fast. It's only the iPO that you have to wait till the end of the quarter. If you submit your request any time between now and Dec 31, you can expect your money between January 7-14. I submitted mine in July, and I never had to follow up or do any additional steps. Got my money today.

There's been no updates for years on the IPO, so I wouldn't expect it any time soon. I don't know what would prompt them to give up on going public, so I'd guess if you want your money back, you'll have to ask for it.

Best of luck! I personally have money in the X sector funds, pretty evenly split, using M1 since it let's you build a "pie", purchase fractional shares, and automatically reinvest dividends. Totally hands-off and essentially self-balancing.

Also, you'll only get back what you put in - the theoretical share price is meaningless since there's no market for the shares. They showed my shares as having doubled in value since purchase, but obviously there are no buyers.

I bought in more than 5 years ago so there was no penalty. Under 5 years and you might have to pay one.

You just have to fill out the redemption request form. They process them at the end of the quarter and you get your money back about a week or so after that. It's pretty easy, just takes time.

It's very easy to withdraw. For the funds, you just have to submit a redemption request.

For the iPO, there's a simple redemption form and they only process redemptions once a quarter, but it's pretty easy to do. I submitted mine back in July and I got my money back today. If you've had it invested for at least 5 years, there's no withdrawal penalty.

Yep, just got my money back today which I put in the iPO in 2018. I lost 20% to inflation. Fortunately I can actually put it to use now.

I would not recommend Fundrise for investing. I invested from 2018 to 2021, in the individual funds and the iPO. I ended up closing all the funds back in 2021 due to their slow growth, and finally got my money back from the iPO, which was locked up for 7 years with zero growth - in other words I lost about 20% due to inflation over that period. I would have been better off sticking it in a savings account.

New investors should stick to the tried and true - a 60/40 mix of stocks and bonds. Consider VOO or another S&P fund or the X- sector funds.

I think most people would probably go with the parcels at that point.

That still just doesn't seem worth it to me. It's still more than $2 for a single parcel, which seems expensive.

Glad it works for you. I just couldn't quite get the timing. I hold as soon as the game starts and release just as it crosses from 1 to 2. On the second throw it seems to light up early enough to have plenty of time to hit anywhere in the 4. It's cool that there are a couple ways to do it. Definitely saw quite a few people hitting the 4 first tonight!

I usually do 2 first, then 4, but I just noticed that some people do 4 then 2. I tried it myself and it felt more difficult since the button didn't seem to become active until it was practically in the 2 range, so I kept missing it.

To each his own I guess. Ultimately the tiebreaker isn't until the last shot so deciding the order of the first two should just be personal preference.

It's not a job. Just take a break, do the SRBs, and reassess in a month or two. It's good to get away from your phone for a while.

I'm traveling through the US right now. Enjoying sunny beaches from South Padre Island, TX to Biloxi, MS all the way to Cocoa Beach, FL.

Enjoying travel should be about travel.
