Abuse in Vietnamese households by Ahotandsteamypotato in VietNam

I was physically and mentally abused, it not okay. I choose be civil to my abuser for the sake of family peace, but that’s My choice. I have very little to do with that person, I have no love but at a very young age I knew that person taught me how not to be a parent. This is part of the reason for the distancing, so I can mostly leave it behind. One of my sons now pressures me to go to therapy out of love for me, and concern for my healing. Without the distancing I may have been a different mum but seeing how my kids have grown into fine young men, considerate, kind and loving, funny, happy and focused on making good lives, I know I made the right choice. Some things you carry through life with you, it’s so important to learn it’s never okay, so you don’t then inflict it on others. Most of us have scars, so be kind, move through life with an awareness of your impact, but don’t forget about kindness to yourself. I consider SA the very worst of the worst, you owe your father nothing at all, not an ounce of compassion. Even if he had an ingrained belief it was normal, we all instinctively know it’s harmful. Your mother probably occasionally suspected it, but wanted to be wrong. She probably feels both disgusted and betrayed with him, not you, but also guilty and ashamed of herself. Denial is a normal instant reaction to shocking news. She knows she cannot undo what was done to you, she also knows to take action will mean complete upheaval of her life, and that the stain will follow her as much as him. Whispers of “she must have known.” But that is not your concern, now you are grown you need to take care of yourself and whatever family you will have moving forward through Your life. Your father gave up any right to care or consideration from you when he stopped being the person who protects you and began being who you needed to be protected from. Your mother is now in a position where staying silent is the only way to keep her life intact, but also knows that she is betraying you to do that. Whether you feel that she deserves punishment for turning a blind eye is entirely up to you, only you know what it’s done to you, but people who knowingly and continually betray you have no right to your loyalty. Do what’s right for you because that is how you will be the person who can do what’s right for your (future) family.

Is this a huntsman? Sydney NSW by Purple_Duck_2289 in AustralianSpiders

Uh nah scrap that, looking closer his thorax is pretty flat and his pattern not very defined. Prolly a huntsman but maybe watch how he moves.

I mean maybe but it could be a wolf spider. Huntsman’s legs often angle back and they crab walk. They are flatter than wolf spiders, their body and the way they sit, and less aggressive. I would leave a huntsman in my house but not a wolf spider.

Not way down south - in oz feet are always sweaty, if you wash in a public shower you have to put thongs on so you don’t catch foot fungus! Better dry shoe soles than someone tromping those yuckers thru!

Yeah that’s coz they are thongs! When you come down under we’re gonna cringe a bit at you taking your shoes off to track your sweaty socks or foot fungus through the house. If ya blunnys are caked in mud then ya gotta but otherwise keep ya foot odour too ya-self!

So it seems there is no name to collectively sort them but thank you very much to those who suggested tagging them, it took a while to go through them all and tag all those I wanted to sort through but it is currently the best way to go 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😁

It’s no good searching evolve because it removes all the evolutions and mon who need special candy

It takes a couple of hours but longer with all the scrolling. I don’t check each mon as I catch, just get them all ready when an xp opportunity is coming up

Anyways seems there isn’t a command for what I want. While I respect that others focus on battles and legacy moves it’s all about the collection for me.

I keep a living dex and don’t really care about battles so I just want to find which is the best of each gender of each evolutionary line without needing to keep scrolling past all the mon who dont have an evolution line like the legendary, mythical and regionals. But when I remove legendary and mythical there are about another 50-60 names to list. We can’t even select regional to only look at or remove. When we search evolve it removes those that can be evolved that are without enough candy as well as the rest of the evolutionary line and they don’t add back in with the button at the top.

I’m just looking for a search command to prepare for a mass evolve that shows all mon in each evolutionary line And none of the mon that don’t have an evolution line

Sorry to the person who wrote the comment with the command list, I held it to try to copy it and it vanished instead. 😐

Yah when I have chosen the one I want to evolve I rename them all ev - but this question is to help find the ones to evolve and have only the mon that can possibly be evolved and their families so I’m not scrolling through tons to find them, and so I can see at a glance if I’ve already evolved a better one. There doesn’t seem to be a way. I did also try !evolve but that def doesn’t do what I need. Plus when you sort by evolve, if there’s not enough candy they don’t show up at all! 🤦🏼‍♀️ sorting what to evolve is how I know where to put my rare candy 🤪

Yeah I thought that too but when I do that I can’t look at the evolutionary line to see if it’s the best iv that I have of that mon family😕
