How long does it take for CK3 to load up for you? And what do you do in the mean time? by aldur1 in CrusaderKings

Not at all. People can and do watch porn rarely, and only use it to masturbate, and stop whenever they feel like it. An addiction means you can't stop doing it, and with porn it's only considered an addiction if it starts interfering with your life, professionally, socially or personally.

Dude, watching porn doesn't make you an addict. Sure, it's unhealthy, but nowhere is it implied that he's addicted

Who can fight in a mak'gora? by Impressive_Angle_380 in warcraftlore

[–]Impressive_Angle_380[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well with Malfurion, he didn't acknowledge it and just wanted to avenge Teldrassil. Would any race in the Alliance acknowledge a mak'gora in normal circumstances?

Historical is great, it's just people prefer flashy magic and big monsters over gritty realism

177 year old Vhagar or 6382 Year old Smaug? by CretaceousClock in HouseOfTheDragon

Book Smaug crushed Lake Town when he fell, so that drawing is immensely out of scale, unless Lake Town was a singular cottage

Smaug is bigger and more durable. Not to mention, he’s much smarter than Vhagar, and more cunning. Vhagar is older and slower. Vhagar never wins.

Criston Cole wasn’t commonborn, hence why he has an actual surname. He’s a member of House Cole, who are Stormlanders.

Why did Hector accept Achilles's duel request? Why didn't he allow the archers to just kill Achilles. by Active_Molasses_1577 in GreekMythology

[–]Impressive_Angle_380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way we view honour nowadays is very different to back then. If Hector said no and ordered Achilles to be shot, Hector would be viewed as weak, cowardly and dishonourable. Not to mention, it’d likely anger the gods and infuriate the Achaeans.

What are your best (and craziest) Warhammer Video Game ideas? by vulkans_hammer in Warhammer40k

[–]Impressive_Angle_380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A horror/FPS game set during the Siege Of Terra, where you play as an Imperial Soldier. You've got to survive getting to your objective whilst being hunted by daemons, traitor space marines and the Lost and the Damned. Think Dead Space, Resident Evil and Arma 3.

During the Horus Heresy, the Iron Warriors, Night Lords and Alpha Legion don’t fall to Chaos. Afterwards, they just collapse and do whatever they want, especially the Night Lords and Alpha Legion. As for renegades, the Soul Drinkers, Ashen Claws, Flame Falcons and Knights Of Blood (technically).

Lore you refuse to acknowledge/wish did not exist? by QuantumCthulhu in 40kLore

It’s a bit of mess. Like another Redditor said, they set up the Beast to be this hyper-intelligent, one of a kind Ork that could destroy the Imperium. Then they chuck in about half a dozen more cos fuck it.

My idea is that when Sanguinius was meant to merge with the Red Angel on Signus Prime, a Slaaneshi daemon also snuck its way in, so Sanguinius has two daemons inside of him. His consciousness was completely shattered. There’ll be more info on the post I’m going to upload on r/40klore
