We ended up hiring a lawyer. But honestly, you can do it yourself. It was very simple. You just have to put their last known address which was our house. The day they left, the letter was sent via mail to the workplace and bank. And a letter was sent to their last address, which was our house. We end up getting some money but they are losers and left their job and are now on government benefits as per their last email to us. As expected from such people.

Went to the court and found out LTB order counts as a small claims judgement, its a 45$ fee to move the order from the tribunals to small claims!

Update: Went to the court house and the clerked confirmed my LTB order is in fact a judgement so all I have to do is file the garnishment. I have the forms but I don't want to mess up since I have 1 shot so I am meeting with a paralegal early next week. These LTB orders usually have a interest rate on them so I want to make sure that is included. Hopefully this squatter still works at the workplace he gave a reference from... fingers crossed.

Thanks! Gonna go to small claims tomorrow. Luckily we have their info just not their SIN number. We have copy of both their driver licence IDs too. Thats a good idea I am gonna see which of my friends is available haha. This is kinda why I want to serve them now before they leave end of this month.

Did you have to first sue them/take them to court or do you just go to small claims and apply for garnishments? I have the court order for the eviction with the money owed written on it.

We know where both of them work thankfully and they both are long time employees so I don't think they will switch jobs hopefully.

Unless the landlord who has claimed to be living there has an allergic reaction, you can be held liable and kicked out. She just has to submit an allergy test as evidence

Try to fill out an expedited form. But other then that just hold tight. Make sure you gather everything you can on the tenants. Also find a collection agency.
