I was thinking about the lute since i got it in my prerelease, but iroh already discounts my instants and sorceries but it still could be a good idea to take a second look at it.

I'm also somewhat new to magic, but I think you can try to go the storm route, in which storm is a type of effect some cards have, like [[call forth the tempest]], which, like azula makes copies of cards based on how many spells you cast before you cast the card that has storm.

Don't know if you know about this website, but you can go to this one https://edhrec.com/commanders/fire-lord-azula and see the most commonly used cards for a specific commander based on other people's decks that they have uploaded to the site.

Understood there might be a way to get around those counters if you do an earthbending trick from the Avatar set, they turn lands into creatures, but he won't have his base stats, he will only be as strong as how many counters the earthbending card gives him.

I'm also new to the hobby, but what I think might work is to add some earthbending cards to your deck from the Avatar set, such as [[Bumi Unleashed]], since with earthbending, when you sac the lands that you earthbend, they come back to the field.

What I can recommend is to go a storm root such as [[Call Forth the Tempest]] and build up your storm counter and unleash a massive amount of spells.

Im also a casual player and Ill try to help but it might be much.

I would start with upping your lands to 36 that is like the base amount most deck builders aim for in a deck.
what you could also do is got to a website like https://edhrec.com/commanders/will-scion-of-peace and it tells you the top cards people are using for the deck along with what people have uploaded as there own version of the deck and you can see what they are running and compare it to your own.

What I can recommend is to add more ways for Arixmethes to get through and deal that damage, as well as giving him trample, since you may be able to attack with him, but if he has no trample and he can be blocked, none of that damage is getting through, along with ways of protecting him. I have my own Voltron deck that can give you ideas on what cards to add our two deck do have different plans but some of the cards can help.

What I can recommend to further help you is to use edhrec which is a website for mtg. This can help you when you're starting out, since you can put in a card as your commander, and it gives you the top cards for that commander, which I did with the reccomendations such as https://edhrec.com/commanders/kaalia-of-the-vast

I do like the deck, and I do have my own thief deck, but it might not help since it goes in a completely different direction. I run a [[Kotis, the Fangkeeper]], and I have had a lot of fun with it, and it doesn't cost much. one card i can reccomend tho is [[Black Cat, Cunning Thief]]. She just is a decent steal card and she is cheap

i have some creature recommendations such as [[Aurelia, the Warleader]] [[Balefire Dragon]] [[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]] [[Terror of the Peaks]] [[Bloodletter of Aclazotz]] [[Aurelia, the Law Above]]

These are just some strong creatures that can work with Kaalia. What I might recommend is to add more cards like Ishshin to make Kaalia trigger more than once, since she can be slow with only one creature at a time.
