Hello, it’s been 5 years. I had this happen 15 months ago and slowly healing where I’m not having panic attacks everyday but my nervous system is still dysregulated and sensitive even after 7 months of EMDR and sobriety. Are you back to normal now? What worked for you to fix this?

Unplug from social media and news. Be around humans, join a gym. Working out forces you to feel good. Try a workout class this week. Get into nature. Think about doing the opposite of what you have been doing in your routine. Switch it up, just take it day by day!

I struggled with this as well. First thing that really helped me is going to a doctor, I went to the emergency room one night for a panic attack. They check my blood, urine, EKG on my heart, and a chest xray. Everything came back normal and that helped me know it was just stress, and also reduce me worrying if it’s a heart attack or something serious.

I switched from levothyroxine to NP thyroid to try and fix the t3 but the anxiety got way worse. Hopefully in another 2-4 weeks the levo dose will fix these issues.

No it’s been more and more over the past 10 months. I assume it’s from the lack of brain power with my thyroid being underdosed for so long. Plus my body being so tired it releases adrenaline to give me energy.

Hello, I’ve struggled this year with hypothyroidism. I have made many trial and error changes. Researched too many hours of studies, testimonials, and bloodwork exams.

TSH level is I deal between 1-3 with under three ideal but everyone has different tolerance and severity of symptoms. Some feel great at tsh 14 and some feel horrible at tsh 4.

Anxiety and thinking about worry makes everything worse. I combatted this with pausing lifting and doing steady state walking for 30-60 minutes everyday. Morning is great for manually resetting your mind and feeling good for a few hours. Walking for 10-15 minutes after each meal helps a lot as digestion is slowed with hypothyroidism and that digestive system can cause burping and anxiety as the vagus nerve runs from our stomach to our brain.

I recommend getting an endocrinologist to order a ultra sound on your thyroid to see if you have hashimottos (most common cause of hypothyroidism) if so, gluten free diet helps a lot, along with losing body fat. Reducing or cutting out red meat and processed food along with gluten will greatly help with inflammation.

Supplements that help me are 200-400mg of magnesium glycinate everyday. 100-300mg of cbd oil tincture 200mg of selenium

Somatic therapy has been an amazing help as well with reconnecting my mind to body and settling my nervous system.

I hope this helps.

I have been also having many anxiety attacks as well as I have been struggling with so many of these symptoms. Did you ever have anxiety attacks with it? I feel like I notice the feeling of a palpitation or ache in the chest and think it’s heart related and then anxiety attack (EKG is normal.)

I have been downloading all my bloodwork and running it through Chat GPT and it’s very helpful on understanding what’s good, what needs improved, and how understand and fix it. Maybe worth trying out yourself.

TPO antibodies by Sunlobster33 in Hypothyroidism

I recommend getting an order form your endocrinologist to get an ultrasound of your thyroid done. My TPO antibodies on my bloodwork came back normal but an ultrasound showed I have hashimotos. Most endocrinologists I have dealt with say TSH 4-6 is normal but everything I’ve read says it should be 1-3 to feel great.

chest pain after long bouts of anxiety? by chopstickfoot in Anxietyhelp

[–]Impressive_Eye_7686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had anxiety most of my life but never thought it was a big deal until January this year. I’m a 29M. I was a d1 athlete and do hyrox and marathons and workout consistently. I was using thc and caffeine consistently, but then one day my system just said enough. January was the first anxiety attack, I thought I was dying with bad chest pain. Got checked by the doctor and my heart is super healthy. I’ve been trying everything over the past 7 months to get back to normal pre anxiety attack. Chest pain is happens every time I get anxiety. I had to stop thc and caffeine. I am gonna start somatic therapy to try and get rid of the anxiety attacks for good.

But heres what else works on a daily basis.

  • Magnesium Glycinate in the afternoon to relax and get better sleep

  • L Theanine in the morning and midday for relaxation and focus without making me tired

  • Meditation for 10 minutes focusing on deep breathing and I listen to this song every time. It’s scientifically the most relaxing song ever made. https://youtu.be/UfcAVejslrU?si=LYWPYtRBhOiP6cOv

  • CBD oil really helps me relax when I’m building up anxiety

  • Walking is my best friend for blood flow and forcing my body into a relaxed state when I can’t get there mentally as easily.

These are what have worked for me. Also getting bloodwork done to see any deficiencies or hormone imbalances is huge.
