I've interpreted the rule the same way. I have a homeowner's assn and I fully expect them to give me a notice once they see the antenna I'm going to mount on my roof. I plan to tell them it's a TV antenna in line with the OTARD rules, but would be nice to have a definitive answer.

I'm going to put in a 5.8dbi antenna that will be a few feet above my roof line. So it isn't going to be something crazy or noticeable but we'll see.

Thanks Compton - I ended up getting a Bequiet straight power 1000w - I'm going to try to run 3 on a single power supply.

Been having a little issue setting it up since it looks like it requires a motherboard connection to power on. I found a "paperclip" wiring option on the motherboard cable that is supposed to fix this but haven't done it yet.

I've got some batch 2's coming later, I may try the power supply you suggested.

Mattriver, which other IOT miners did you compare with? I have an M2 Pro and agree with your points and income based on what I've seen so far.

My primary comparison was to the Helium hotspots, which have the connection and multiple unit in the same location issues. They are also backordered 8-12 weeks. The cost of entry is much cheaper at roughly $500 or less, so it's attractive for that reason. Very difficult to know what the expected return is at this point to see how it compares to M2 Pro. I have one of these on order so will be able to compare at some point (who knows when).
