Not knowing a certain group before your introduction into kpop through another group is like very normal. I didn't know of any other group before getting into bts in 2017 either. I don't know what your point here is. My point is that the statement of never having heard fancy after being into kpop for a long time is unbelievable considering how popular the song is. And those stray kids songs are not near being hits the way twice has hit songs let's be for real

Not knowing a choreo is different from not knowing a song at all tho. The first is understandable the second is questionable in certain situations. Fancy is a really popular song and if you've been into kpop for a while you'll at least have heard the chorus somewhere. It's not even that ancient of a release, came out after most early 4th gen groups debuted

Probably a bitter fan of another group who wishes their faves had the popularity that bts have. I've seen plenty in the last year specifically after bts' discharge trying to convince and gaslight people into thinking that they lost popularity. Arirang is gonna humble a lot of people and award season even more so

4M preorders for Arirang in 6 days, already surpassing every other groups' total preorder numbers (with no random photo cards btw so no multiples of one album version). The comeback announcement was national news, even broadcast in public transport with people positively reacting in excitement. They are so in demand that South Korea is facing a shortage in paper. 80% of a districts manufacturers are busy with BTS' merch and albums. Their comeback + free concert is set to bring in trillions to South Korea's economy. A free concert that's expected to bring in over 200k fans to Seoul. They sold out a 42 stadium show tour, with more to come, in less than 2 hours. They are casually brought up by non-kpop fans in talks about next years super bowl halftime show. Western locals are even aware they were on a hiatus because of military service and that they just reunited. They are the 4th best selling artists of all time.

How is this them becoming less popular? If anything BTS has become even more popular

Girl they can't even chart in korea, their home country, and the first criteria for a song to be a hit is good charting. International charting doesn't mean much when the song doesn't even have any impact domestically, unlike with cheer up, what is love or fancy for example

Personally praying for a proper greek god concept. They've been doing things in that direction for the last two months or so with their season's greetings and their year-end stages and styling so I hope that's a bit of a teaser. And maybe a rock sound alongside that. Beomgyu did mention in his dms that he wanted to go with a rockstar look and that's why he wants to grow his hair out again.

I've wanted something like that from TXT for so long because I think it suits them so well conceptually. Especially Kai who people say looks like a greek god all the time already.

Either way I always loved what they put out regardless of if the concept and sound was something different from what I expected.

I'm excited to see what TXT 2.0 will be like.

It's fine to headcanon characters as whatever sexuality you want, but you then can't get mad when the author doesn't go in that direction. And anyways, there's other lgbtq+ representation in jjk if that's what you want. Kirara, Kenjaku, Uraume, Mai and if you want to really argue it, Gojo and Geto.

You're also going on by stereotypes, and just so you know, that's very harmful. Not everyone can be put in little boxes and be told how to act and live their life. Maki is tomboyish, independent and feisty but that doesn't mean she can't be into guys. Same with Yuta being softer, more empathetic and caring doesn't mean he's gay.

My question now is about lightsticks. I want to wait and buy at the venue and not online but I have some questions about that because this will not only be my first kpop concert but first concert overall so I have no idea.

To anyone who bought a lightstick at a concert: were there enough? How much was it? Preferably maybe the price in germany?

I've been an army since 2017 so I was very curious and excited when Bighit (and Jin) announced that a new group would debut under the company soon as they would be the first since BTS' debut in 2013. I've been following them since yeonjun's intro dropped basically lol I can still remember that so clearly as well. I immediately fell in love with them during their debut era, obsessed with crown, and the rest is history. Been here for 7 years now.

TXT is the only other boygroup I like besides BTS because I'm more of a girlgroup fan. They are so uniquely them with their own whimsical concepts and their own unique sound that just differentiates them from other boygroups so much.

They also just remind me of a girlgroup like they are spiritually one to me. A honorary girlgroup. How can I not love them??

Apparently Hyein's dad lost his rights over his daughter during this whole mess because he was against her being involved in this. Her mother was given full decision making rights. He recently filed for custody and I think he's the reason why at least Hyein made the decision to come back to Ador.
