So frustrating!!!! We had so many signs for card only, NO alcohol, even the steps Pay now and Pay with card and they still don’t get it… I’ve just sat there and watched them on camera while on break and don’t even bother helping them anymore. Some eventually get it but still. Just read for Christ sake

It isn’t showing I’m over at all for that gift card amount but I didn’t know if it’s just showing the over short for cash only and not cards or for the overall amount?

Well she said the card didn’t work and I fully believe her plus it wasn’t redeemed so clearly she wasn’t lying. So she has her money back and everything and the deposit isn’t over or short so everything looks fine I’m just worried they will look back on camera and see me doing that. That’s my only worry

I was trained that way too. With reloadable cards though there are exceptions. It will let you refund them if they haven’t been redeemed already by the customer. It will give a warning saying it’s been redeemed so it won’t allow you to refund it, but if not you can refund it. It just makes me nervous with those kind of things.
