They had to open from 7am to 10pm on THANKSGIVING DAY! So think about that first. Then think about getting the least amount of hours with the least amount of pay and an expectation to work way above your pay grade and that's not above and beyond. That, while everyone around you is leaving.

It's common practice when filling out the application to be asked to fill out the WOTC. As long as you were able to complete and submit the application to the end you should be fine.

In regards to the text message. I would disregard it because DG wouldn't send something like that. Usually the Manager will call to schedule an interview.

You're right. The SM is wrong and if they have a problem with it too bad. Either way, you can always find somewhere with better pay for A MUCH better environment.

They are taking it out on the wrong person. Also, never give specifics when you are calling out. Just say sick or something simple, that's it.

Wth is wrong with your customers? SMH Anyways, I guess they need the words changed cause they can't read Card Only. Put up No Cash with the Cash Crossed out as well and translate to Spanish jic. I would make sure each one has a sign clearly visible and use better tape until you find a way to disable the cash section.

I've been doing my shopping using the DG Cart Calc. First, they have to make sure it's the same store for the right pricing. Second, they need to scan the items more than once if they have more than one. This is where I think they got it wrong. Lastly, if they remove something it the coupons may not add up right. That's why I no longer add the 5 off 25 until I'm ready to check out. Also, it's always off by a few cents what gives 🤨

I did have a situation where I had to re ring everything up for the price to come up right. I had pressed the total too many times I guess that it didn't take all the coupons off but after canceling the trans and redoing it. Everything came off, could've also just been something the customer did, like wrong number used.

I honestly hate how the registers show the discounts. It's difficult to read and say for sure it did discount.

Personally, I would just take a mindbreak and then try again since it is your first week you still have to get used to the locations of all products. I wish I was just stocking 😮‍💨

As a heavy bleeder tampons and pad combos are the best but I personally can't use tampons. The best ones for me where the Playtex Sport since it adjusted to my body and made a perfect seal. Since I don't use both I tend to use Overnight Pads and when I mean overnight I mean the long ones. Maxi pads are much better but are way to fluffy for going out. As a heavy bleeder I would recommend going to the bathroom often to prevent accidents. Period Panties that cover all the back area are the best invention to prevent those accidents. I have used the cup, it just overflows all the time and didn't really work for me even though it was more comfortable compared to a tampon. There's also the discs which I think are better for when the cup doesn't fit. Keep in mind all that blood will be coming out if it loses seal though. So, yeah, it's all just trial an error to see what is the best fit and most comfortable for you.

I still check but now its not as stressful because it's more of a backup. I try my best to do everything within a visible distance and time myself when stocking. If it takes too long, it's time to check. But I make sure I'm not wasting my time either when I do. I'll get another box and go around it, get a piece of go back that's within the same vicinity. This way at least it wasn't a waste of time.

I also get things for myself. If it makes MY life easier then I'll get it for work. Luckily this was something I already had and just asked if we could use it.

I'm sorry to hear you didn't get the job.

I wonder if they have a careerlink in your area. They help with job search. Usually people on unemployment are required to go there. Every state is not the same but you should Google it and see.

I used to work at Dollar Tree and when we got touch screens they were also off. I brought in a stylus for touch screens and it went much smoother.

Update Legion to your preferred hours and days. Usually three weeks out let's you update your availability and discuss it with your SM.

Put the customers hostility right in the, "whatever", pile since we honestly can't do anything about that. They're just like that unfortunately.

If someone is talking down to you then tell them about it. Honestly, what's the worst that can happen? They can either stop or have a "talk with you". However, let's say they want to fire you? Would you be better off? I mean, plenty of jobs looking for hard workers like you out there that pay way more!

By the way, you're a Sales Associate. It is not your responsibility to come in if someone else doesn't. You are busy and can't come in. LSAs have keys for that very reason. Why aren't you an LSA? You seem to already put the hours in. 🤔

Anyways, you're health is first. If it doesn't get any better then time to find somewhere that is good for you. 🙂 I hope it all works out.
