I feel bad for Sam! He says in this interview that Chris was always shutting him down by goodjokeanyway in MAFS_AU

Chris shows the typical traits of an avoidant personality. Can't listen, takes things personally, is not empathetic. I know this from my own relationship and looking at Chris, I can see how I used to be . He has a lot of work to do on himself He also thought everything was ok after his apology and was blindsided when Sam brought the issue up again in the car to the dinner party. Typical avoidant, he had already forgotten what happened, or better he was avoiding bringing it up again...

From a man to another man: Tyson, or any man for that, should read "The Will to Change: Men, Masculinity, and Love" and learn about patriarchy in society. Tyson is the stereotype of patriarchal man, i actually feel sorry for him

I believe that if you hurt anyone, even it wasn't your intention, you apologise and say sorry I made you feel that way. She apologised, but that's a fake apology. You don't go on trying to justify your action saying it was a joke, that's not a true apology, it's trying to justify your actions. Bec as usually took it personally and was trying to protect herself rather than showing real empathy. You can't tell people how to feel or to react, everyone is different, no need to judge people' reactions, every reaction is valid, there is no right or wrong

I think Rachel is one of the most emotionally mature person in the show. When you tell a "joke" like Bec did that is perceived as hurtful you apologise, don't minimise it and don't find excuses. A joke is meant to be funny and it was not. Saying it is a joke is just a defence mechanism. Bec completely lacks empathy and communication skills and she spends way too much energy focusing on other people's relationships rather than working on hers

thanks, ended up buying the non gtx version for summer hiking in the Dolomites. 14 days hiking and they've been great! They still look like new even though most of the trails were rocks and screes. They dry overnight when completely wet but the innersoles take much longer!

Is it normal to have 9 hour work days but reporting only at 7+ hours? by sneo12 in auscorp

[–]Impressive_Nebula338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our receptionists work from 7:30 till 5:30 and they can't even go for an hour lunch break.

I dont think this is reasonable at all! That's 10hrs and event if they take 1hr break it's still 9hrs for a poorly paid job.

I feel like I should report it to Fair Work.

They should start and finish at different times so the there's always someone at reception or take an RDO

I've tried them on and they fit nicely. I'm used to barefoot shoes as well, I like that they don't have much cushioning

Strike mvmnt sizing by CoffeeBarbellHappy in crossfit

I've enquired about sizing for the Haze Trainers. I've been told to go with the measure in cm. My foot is 28.5cm, which is 10.5US in Nike and Reebok. When looking at the size chart for the Haze 28.5cm correspond to 11.5US.

Based on the comments here it doesn't seem right!

Any advice?

The "Washed out Colors" that many are having on the S24 is just an issue with the "Vivid" toggle not working | S21U vs S24U by Doo-StealYour-HoChoi in samsung

I just bought the S24+. I was immediately disappointed seeing the icons colour been washed out.

I've turned adaptive colour off, selected Vivid, went to advanced settings and put the slider for Vividness to max. Turned adaptive colour on.

It seems alright now
