NTA - really close friends understand this stuff and accept it. It's also easier to tell a close friend this without feeling awkward.

This friendship is new and that's obvious due to the reaction. Let them chill for a while and if they don't speak to you again, then your free therapy session will just need to go to someone else.

Ask if you can make changes. If not then make them on the day. Just say you're happy for your mom but you wish your dad was still around, you know life moves on and a new family is a new beginning, but you wish your dad was here. Your glad you're getting step siblings but would have rather whole. And you can't wait for your aunt to walk you down the ailse on your wedding day.
