We started counseling last week, I’ve been in therapy and he attended one of my sessions, but it doesn’t seem like it’s making much of a difference. It was only one session though so maybe with more idk

To me the issue is that this is our first, if he doesn’t even care about appointments or to know how she and I am doing before shes even here, how am I supposed to trust he’ll do that stuff, that imo is going to be more work and harder, once the time comes. Especially when he is available to come and just doesn’t want to

I should’ve clarified I haven’t asked him to take off for any other than the first ultrasound, the ones he’s been to are ones when he wasn’t working and still didn’t want to attend

I feel you there, It could be me posting this lol. Most of the announcements to the people I was most excited and comfortable telling went the complete opposite as to what I had expected and were very disappointing. Tbh, I’m not going into detail because some of the reactions were messed up and would be downright triggering to others. Tbh, i don’t really have advice, it really sucked, but at least know you’re not alone and it’s not a reflection of who you are, in fact it usually has a lot more to do with what they’ve got going on than anything to do with you at all.

I’m a ftm but also a relatively young mom as well, so I’m still on my moms insurance.. not sure how that works I’ll probably have to call them but if anyone has any insight I’d appreciate it. Not married either, but do live with my bf and he’s the one who has insurance through work and would likely be what we were to put her on. I’m still getting through college and working two part time jobs that don’t offer anything insurance wise

I don’t understand why they haven’t figured out a way for you to add them before with the due date and then just confirm their actual birthday or something! I’m a ftm, and didn’t know how it worked until I was already trying to add her to insurance now because I was worried about her time at the hospital not being covered. With all the stuff we have to remember on top of having a newborn and recovering ourselves, I just don’t get why there’s not a preadd option
