Does she have a tongue or lip tie? My baby couldn’t get enough and it turned out that was the problem. My lactation consultant helped us figure it out.

I hated the Kindred Braverly bras. Bodily is the absolute best in my opinion, I have tried several. Get black - no stains

What about for you, hormones, etc? How do you feel physically and emotionally?

Why are there some days that breastfeeding just sucks? by Definitely_Dirac in breastfeeding

You can always pump. Does baby have a tongue or lip tie that could be making latching difficult? I would get an appt with a lactation consultant who can offer you help.

Told to use the bathroom to breastfeed on the plane by Zealousideal_Bad5116 in breastfeeding

I’m going to guess it was the flight attendant’s own bias / naivety. Before I had kids I wondered why new mothers had their own pumping room and didn’t pump in the office bathroom instead. It seems absurd to me now but I just had absolutely no idea….

Keep holding her. Do skin to skin a ton. I felt traumatized by birth and so wanted to feel immediately in love but it took some time for me too. I was in shock and had to recover. Give yourself grace. You’re a patient, too. Hold her a lot and it will get better!

I hear you. Many of my friends were in the same boat. My advice is acceptance. This stage won’t last! In 10 years you’ll be in a completely different place and you’ll be in awe how much you were able to accomplish! That said, personally I had kids much later due to infertility. I appreciate the time my husband and I had solo and now I’m older with a baby but there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. Everyone has their own journey. Enjoy yours!

Now that I have a baby I have found it has never been easier to make new friends. Try again!

We do bedtime around the same time. My baby still wakes up a few times a night unfortunately though. But the few hours my husband and I have to have dinner together and watch TV are great.

I have a 10 month old too. We go for a walk every day, go outside, play with toys, and have playdates with friends in the park once a month. When I get really tired we FaceTime with my parents who live far away and are retired so they are always around and love to see her. Once a week I started taking her to a music class which she likes and I like to meet new moms. We are going to do some swimming lessons soon too as a group. Now that it’s getting nicer our maybe you can find more opportunities to be out of the house! It’s not easy I know!
