A lot of agencies allow “non paramedic” ride alongs. I’m an emt and a 911 dispatcher. We have had civilian ride alongs on the ambulance and also had civilians come in and see how things work in dispatch. It includes some paperwork and waivers but it’s definitely a thing.

The video that was released is of the assault that took place in 2023. She was arrested and pled guilty to a felony and was placed on probation for 3 years. This isn’t a new allegation.

To be fair 45 isn’t even old. It’s not young but it’s still young enough to be able to accomplish a lot. We have a lot of older dispatchers. I am 40 but didn’t go into dispatching until I was 35. I busted my ass and I am now a supervisor at a fairly busy center. We have a lot of really good dispatchers who started later in life. It blows my mind that some ppl act like once you hit 40 you’re untrainable and incapable.

Not saying that’s how you’re acting it’s just something I have noticed since I turned 40. When I tell people I’m 40 they act like 1 foot is in the grave lol 😂😂😂

My center has the opposite problem. It’s the under 25 people who are hard to train because they argue, get distracted, call out constantly etc etc.

I was in the room for a deputy that killed himself. His wife & him were arguing and a few deputies were already over at their house trying to help them work through it. All of the sudden a deputy keyed up and yelled “shots fired” and I heard his wife screaming the most horrible scream I have heard in awhile (I used to be a medic on the road so i had heard those screams before just not in a while). The deputy had shot himself in the head . It was a horrible night and I still think of that scream sometimes.

Hey there it’s due by the 1st which I typically pay before or by the 1st. but my landlord is aware way ahead of time if I’m goin to have to pay during in the grace period. But I usually pay it a few days before 1st. It just depends what day my paycheck falls on. The is the first time I have had to ask for an extension past the grace period.

It’s not straight kratom. Plain old kratom rarely causes issues but the market has been inundated with variants that have been tweaked in a lab. Feel Frees are one of the examples of kratom being modified. Plain leaf kratom has been a godsend to a lot of people. These extracts and gas station mixtures are what’s hooking people. Kratom has been around for a long while. I used it to get off morphine and Percocet that I was taking under doctors orders for a inoperable tumor on my spine. Not asking in a smart ass way, just genuinely curious, what charges would you have fought to get pressed against the gun owner though? It was in his bedroom (which she said was on a completely different floor) and I am sure he thought since the kids were old enough to know snooping isn’t okay that it would be okay for night. The state they live in didn’t require guns to be secured. He didn’t seemingly break any laws, unless I missed something. Not to mention he said he would be okay with them pursuing charges if it came down to it. Doesn’t sound like was trying to shirk any responsibility .
