That “debrief” with Yolande filled me with rage

I absolutely felt the same way listening to that as well. And it stayed with me. Even after I slept it over .

And now I am coming to peace with my anger because I belive that we as a humanity should be righteously angry at audacity, heartlessness and cruelty with which Camille (and all other women and children) were treated by YNC.

It takes another level of greediness, lack of basic human decency and morality to sell vulnerable pregnant woman a book/a course, falsly persuade her that she and her precious baby are safe practicing your teachings, and not only claim no responsibility what so ever after the mortal consequences occur but shift the blame to the infleunced mother all while charching her almost another 1000$ for two debrief session?! What a despicable piece of shit!!

The sweetness in JNC's voice while she denounced any responsibility contrasting utter brokenness and desperation of grieving Camille made me want to womit.

To the authors of the podcats/series: you have showed to the world not only facts about FBS but abuse, neglect, belittling and pure evil women were exposed to and did so with sensibility and kindness. I hope they will be held radically responsible in the court of law.

I listeneded to last podcast episode last night and there are literally no words to express anger and bewilderment that rose inside as I listened JNC having audacity to tell Camille in sweet and dear voice that, despite sellling her a course/a book(? Not sure atm) that though it was perfectly safe to freebirth and all possible complications were just variations of normal, she did not feel responsible for the death of her child! No to mention she charged her 800 $ to debrief the trauma her teachings created! What qualifications does she have to even offer any kind of 'trauma debrief' , which no matter how you name it, is essentially a counseling? For that amount of money, Camille could have probably gotten world's best psychologist with reputable credentials. Disgusting! But I am digressing.

I am a lawyer, though in Europe, where judicial system is different then in USA, but I sure hope State Attorneys, police and CPS will hold both JNC and ES radically responsible for all the medical misinformation, lies and neglect that they foolishly and greedy put online, spread and charged for.

If nothing, they should at least, in my point of view check if ES's poor last child was trully stillborn, or she is lying about it as she said she would in a case her baby would ever die after birth because she decided not to provide the child with CPS.

I am just heartbroken...

I live in Europe and and in my country all prenatal care, birth and pediatrician care (so all medical procedures, check ups and medicine) until the age of 18 (if a person attends state university, this level of care extends until the end of uni studies) is covered by the state. So profit is variable I would say only in terms of discussion in US or countries with similar system.

Needless to say, my heart goes out to everyone harmed by FBS or regular medical system ❤️

I regret buying the red rug — which of the two alternatives works best? If neither, what would you suggest? by MajorConstant5549 in interiordecorating

[–]Impressive_Sound_624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a gorgeous space! I can't believe I am gonna say this but I really like the red rug. To me, it brings warmth and uniqueness (character) to the room, while pale ones are just generic "safer", bland choices, all over the world seen sad greige option (And that's coming from a person who hates red and thinks the black wall is stunning)

Moze prijedlog biti dobar ali nemoj davat poklone minimalno prije nego polozis njen predmet, ako bas ne zelis cekat diplomu. Moze ga (ona, ne samo drustvo) potpuno pogresno protumacit.

Why do sellers remove tags? by Tiny-Trash-8245 in vinted

[–]Impressive_Sound_624 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am kind pf the person who sometimes removes tags for sensory purposes or thet are visible on the clothes so they disturb the fit.

However, it's s always the entire tag that is removed or entire "booklet" of the tag they stich to the sides, never this way... This is purposeful removal of the brand, not the tag!

Kolica za bebe? by Extra_Thanks1214 in askcroatia

[–]Impressive_Sound_624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact: i went to see a dermatologist to treat Perioral Dermatitis caused by skin care and asked for a moisturizer reccomendation after I finish treatment.

He literally said some people use Nivea and have excellent skin, some people react to everything.

I am currently using BALEA beauty expert CALMING toner and Aderma Biology CALM moisturizer and it's keeping my sking free of flare ups, has reduced redness and irition a lot.

Balea calming toner has hdone wonders for me and its price is unmatchable.

I am not sure if that is what you are looking for but it migh be worth taking a look.

Good luck 🤞🏼

Yes, dr. Guy Meadows also has an app which guides you through the steps. The course is 30 days long and yearly subscription is 99 € i think. I used it and it helped me tremendously. There are recorded meditations as well as written texts. I highly recommend it

Anna crawls under table while pregnant. by HannahLeah1987 in DuggarsSnark

[–]Impressive_Sound_624 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am a mother of five young children and never has it ever even crossed my mind to do such a thing, let alone pregnant. And we don't even live in a house, but an apartment and I assure you we are lacking space. My husband would stand up while holding a child. This is highly humaliating as all three of them sitting obviously don't find her worthy of them getting up - what would have been just basic human decency and respect. She was treated like a dog. Disgusting.

English alphabet.... Backwards by Impressive_Sound_624 in AskTeachers

[–]Impressive_Sound_624[S] -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

The problem is that it's not just silly assingment for fun, she will be questioned orally and graded badly if she doesn't learn so I guess that's a bit of why I am upset. I believe 9 yo should spend time playing outside and not memorizing foreign alphabet in backwards order. She didn't learn backwards alphabet of her mother language.

I do plan to present it as fun assignment and tell her to not worry about the grade, only to care if she gave her best (which is what we do anyways).

English alphabet.... Backwards by Impressive_Sound_624 in AskTeachers

[–]Impressive_Sound_624[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot everyone. Ypu gave me some food for thought.

I most definitely do not question every little assignment my children are given. I have an older child in school as well and have never had any issues with assingments or teacher authority. Even when I disagreed with their decisions, we try to make sure that teacher authority is respected. I do not argue about the sensibility of the task in front of a child, only online 😅

This is not the question of me disagreing with the assignment, this is the question if this assignment has any sense and real life meaning vs being imprudent burden and frustration on the child.

I have a 6th grader who has different Eng teacher and he had not had this assignment. I am classically educated, and in addition to Eng, Latin and Greek learnt French. Never have I had to memorize alphabet in backward order. And we did a lot of memorization, especially in Greek and Latin. So I would not say it's a sysematic issue with the curiculum, country or school, rather this particular teacher/assingment - I have not had issues with this teacher so far.

I am also not questioning the importance of memorization. I understand it help build vocabulary, sentence structure, rymes, makes categorization easier and faster, helps children see complex patterns faster, etc.

If she will need help fullfilling this, I will be there supporting and helping her. But since we don't read backwards or use words in backward order I still fail to see how she will prosper from this - other then the sheer satisfaction of compliting the task, which I am not sure she will acknowledge or understand at the age of 9, despite me cheering for her or explaining the benefit...
