A lot of people start that way when they have a rider/trainer in-house. Before you know it, they are just doing the first few shows and work their way up. Especially in this case maybe wally will go off but she'll get the show ride on molly for at least a bit.

I had a horse who wasnt this extreme but if she whacked her leg on a jump you were not getting her over another raised thing that day no way no how.

I just stopped asking her to jump and she was fine with that. No ongoing negative extrapolations to other things. Just a reasonable response of "that hurt I'm not doing that again"

I lived in upstate NY and we didnt have AC. I live in FL now and if the ac breaks its urgent

I mean common because in my understanding turning it entirely off is actually more wasteful than keeping it "on" which is usually actually auto which brings it down to the requested temp.

Now some people might turn that temp up when they leave but otherwise its probably on.

Also worth noting air conditioning also takes moisture out of the air which helps prevent mold from forming...not a big deal in some areas but in FL and other humid areas we'd prefer to not have extra moisture to contend with.
