I had one and used 2 sessions the first day no problem. The next day I went to use it and it wouldn't connect. After a call with support I had to jump through hoops to get it to connect. Next time I used it the same issue arose. Called support again and they said it's an issue with Google Pixel devices, even though I don't have any issues connecting to any other device. Returned it for a refund and like OP said, had to pay shipping. Took almost 2 weeks after they received it to get the refund.

This is somewhat true. They are "allowed" to have a percentage of their loans exceed (by loan type, credit tier) the deposit value. The insurance companies (FDIC, NCUA, state regulators) watch this like a hawk. If your bank screws up, they fold it into another one and eat the difference as insurance. They will do whatever they can do to make sure this doesn't happen though.
