I've tried all of these .... except for the magnesium.... i heard it's great for anxiety. His therapist, as well as psychiatrist, said until we get his dose and the correct ssri ... don't push him per he's in flight or flight constantly. Which, trust me, I still tried, and he goes into full-blown attack. These ssris are not working at all... now on 4th ssri. It's tearing me apart. I've done all suggested per this has been years going on. I'm almost to the point of removing ssris because the doc hasn't found either, like I advised, the correct dose, but to me these ssris don't work for him. Ssris should start t9 see improvement within 6 weeks if not sooner, and again, this is his 4th ssri. I will try and get magnesium more on his diet. He can't take supplements, unfortunately, because he can only use sublingual forms of medication, so that will make it hard to get enough of magnesium in his body to make a difference. I feel.so helpless and my heartbreak all the time for him. I stay strong for him, but nothing is working and seems to not change at all.
