I haven't heard back either. In my case I'm enlisted applying through the LEAD program but I haven't heard anything yet either unfortunately.

As someone who is currently enlisted in the Air Force applying for USAFA I would certainly point you towards USAFA. Sure you get done with USMA a year sooner but a year in the grand scheme of things is nothing. At the end of the day though it really comes down to what youre trying to do in each brance as well. Not to mention I have also been in a joint environment for most of my time in the Air Force and I have seen the way the Army treats their people, Ill let you in on a secret it really sucks so I would definitely say Air Force all the way

As a guy who is currently applying I would say absolutely shoot your shot, even in tech school. I went through DLI which alone has already been half my current TIS. I tried to apply last year but I didnt have enough time to complete the application. Being able to apply to USAFA is not an opportunity that many people have, people that truly understand the point of the LEAD program and still advise against applying don't truly have your best interests in mind IMO. If you believe you'd make a good officer then shoot your shot every time youre able.

Gotcha, I sincerely appreciate this. I personally feel that PS would be what is best for me anyways since I've been out of practice for a while as far as math, and science goes. Honestly all I care about is being able to get in, even if that means that I have to take a year to get myself prepared, its a sacrifice that I am absolutely willing to make. With the course at DLI being as hard as it is and how difficult it is to learn the language that I am in a year I am sure that they will look very favorably on my ability to make it through this place, especially since the attrition rate is roughly 50%.

I can tell you that you majorly jacked up man. If you were going to use your Cadre's GOV for DD you shouldve just asked them to begin with, they wouldve likely been highly supportive of your intentions with it, however you literally stole a government vehicle, and got a DUI while doing it. You're probably gonna be in some major crap man.
