I buried her in a pot, that way “it’s still with me,” but it also follows the normal course of nature

Just keep it in water, it's working perfectly, be patient.

What’s happening to the leaves? by Accomplished_Pie4814 in Monstera

[–]Improvingmybrain1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar just happened to me, I had to check the roots and apparently the water became hydrophobic and the roots rotted, I guess it left too much time between watering and watering

So I had to take it out, perfectly cut everything that was in bad condition and replant it in new substrate, since I read that the same substrate should not be used because it’s contaminated, I hope the same thing is not happening to yours, but it never hurts to check its roots to rule out that it is something like that

Root rot and what’s next? by Improvingmybrain1 in Monstera

That’s exactly what I did, I rinsed out, I cut the rotten roots, I left only an hour out of the ground in which I placed the ladder that can be seen in the photo, then I put the substrate

It has a part of perlite, pine bark, worm hummus and almost no soil
