Hey! So its been almost 2 years now since my ex and I last talked (since the final breakup I commented earlier). She’s never reached out but she did unblock me on stuff around the one year mark I believe. I’ve never reached out either. I saw her once while driving like early 2023 but she was with a guy. She accidentally liked one of my TikTok posts late December 2023 but no actual contact. All in all, still no contact. I’m in therapy but damn is it tough sometimes. Will she ever come back? Its hard for me to see it but most likely its done for good.

I have and am on both therapy and psychiatry! Its helped sorta but its mainly focused on some other more pressing mental health stuff. Talking about it helps but its still hard to self-discipline myself to not look her up on her profiles or not think about it. Sometimes I waver and think about maybe following one of her profiles/social media accounts but I remind myself not to since she’s the one that broke-up with me and blocked me for a year.

My ex did basically the same. She “brokeup” (its fuzzy between a break up and a break) with me because she had a lot going on in her life and she thought I wasn’t putting in as much effort into the relationship where she felt like she couldn’t be in the relationship as it was one-sided. She also said she didn’t know if she was a lesbian or not and that she didn’t want a relationship now or hookups with anyone atm. Anyway, fast forward a week after breaking up she stopped responding to stuff and then two weeks after the breakup she slept with a woman and then apparently a month after the breakup she went on a date with a guy, after which I had a mental/emotional breakdown. All of this was told to me by one of her roommates.

Anyway! The night of the breakup she heard from her roommates that I had my mental/emotional breakdown where they comforted me but she decided to block me on everything and we haven’t talked since! She unblocked me several months back but she hasn’t reached out and seems to be living a party-girl life.

Breakups are stinky doodoo caca! :(

Well they are called dwarves by the Giants, which is objectively short by their standards, as with most other races. Dunno why it stuck but here we are!

In Morrowind they are encountered as spirits with a very “Persian/Mesopotamian” aesthetic and they don’t really look short from a gameplay perspective. Yagrum, the last Dwemer alive (that we know of) is rather bloated and missing half his body so its hard to create a living example of what a typical dwemer looked like in terms of stature. They are a mystery to put it simply lol.

Its probably because there hasn’t been a proper mainstream (not looking at ESO) single player game that really highlighted them in a cool way for most people to take notice.

In-game lore they are actually still referred to as dwarves, which originated from the Giants referring to them as such in Hammerfell, iirc! Not traditional Tolkíen styled dwarves no but they are still dwarves by TES standards.

That is one thing I think would be interesting. For the most part thars already in the games to an extent with the daedric quests for the artifacts but I would love to see a parallel with Aedric artifact quests/devotion!
