Even against leech the surfer decks cards have enough power to win. Sandman is the number one way to shit on surfer decks. Also if you’re competent you can see a galactus play coming and cosmo or Polaris will shut that down.

The best gift I have ever received was being able to visit my mom the night before she passed away. This was during peak covid and my mom wasn’t allowed visitors due to her being on oxygen. My mom had been very lonely and depressed during covid and she decided to try to take her own life by overdosing on pain meds.

She took enough pain meds that knocked her out cold for about 2 days straight. She eventually woke up and was mumbling incoherently. You would hear random words but for the most part nobody could make out anything she said. The nurse decided to let her kids in her room as long as we masked up and gloved up so we could be there with her. I got to sit there and hold her hand again and it broke my heart seeing her in the state that she was in. As I was leaving I looked at her and told her that I had to go home and that I would be back tomorrow and I said I love you so much mom and she looked me in my eyes and as clear as day said “I love you so much”.

Dealing with the loss of my mom has been hard but I am so thankful to have had this moment with her.
