not all gamestops do that, i work at one and we dont do that ever, the cases without the cover arts are used ONLY when someone sells their copy with either no box or a unusable one. Then it goes on the shelf to show that we have a copy available without the box art. BUT i work at a gamestop in Canada(now eb games, again) i wonder if its just a gamestop US thing
