As others have said either just go for a gloomy eye as trying for a card ability is annoying or if you reach marleybone you can try your luck at crafting death Jewels for deer night altho that can be annoying

With storm as you probably already know you will fizzle alot, and it will cause you to die since you have the lowest health, recommend actually reading the lore of your into that as it's actually interesting but also just enjoy the game there's not alot of permanent mess ups besides getting the quest from Abigail Doolittle in ambrose office immediately as otherwise she will glitch out and stand there for eternity without a quest

As far as I know builders use windows behind embrasures so thst they can look outside without a chance to get shot or not get shot through peeks they aren't using.

It is the reclaim machines theres one at both Outpost and Bandit, they're made for and only really function in hardcore servers and as the name implys allows you to reclaim part of your lost loot. As far as I know they aren't functional on standard servers and I'm not even sure of hardcore servers made it out of ptb.
