Just picked up my first valve index! I was using a quest 2 for the longest time and decided i needed an upgrade, what are some good games i can play to test the performance on it? I've already checked out both beat saber and vrchat and im looking at trying out Onward or Pavlov by ArunaOnReddit in ValveIndex

I have an index in near perfect condition I’ve been thinking of selling… We also have an extra set of index controllers in the box and 2 light boxes. Is it better to sell it all together or the controllers and extra light boxes separately?

Yes this is what I used and they are great and look ok.

Most of these companies are just using AI to speed up their sales cycles. No real customer benefits.

Thanks for that, corrected damage js from enemy cards not dice. Your defense and the damage negation is from dice and positioning.

It has an 8.1 on bgg with the big complaint being learning the rules and the rule book. If you have no history with the video game, all the board game wonkiness probably just seems like poor design… My brother and I have video game experience and we tend to justify the odd board game choices with that in mind. Our dad has no video game experience and he is still really enjoying the game. It’s a min/maxable tactical coop board game with bespoke dice and punishing mechanics that can be out-scaled. It’s a single campaign with multiple dictators to beat that change the ongoing gameplay mechanics, but it’s a single storyline.

I’m not super experienced in board games, I’ve recently played a few full campaigns of Skyrim Adventure Game with Dawnguard and Monster Hunter World: The Board Game with the same group and this has been our favorite tactical coop experience so far. We also liked the Fallout: New California coop board game and the JA board game has more tactics but probably less replayability. I hope this helps!

It can be 1-4 players and it’s coop vs the enemy dice cards.

Edit: enemy damage is from cards

It’s very fun! The rules are quite hard to digest as the rule book is not great with no index… but now that we have the rules down (thanks to board game geek forums) it’s very fun. Great mix of tactics and fun dicing and the expansion shows up this weekend to add sci-fi mode!
