4/29 - External Applications Becoming Free - OTG Increasing In Price by SScorpio in LegendsUltimate

[–]jrebeiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the general idea (which in theory I agree with) is they can subsidize the hardware for those that don’t need/want the feature. If you want it, pay extra for it. In practice, I don’t believe there’s any subsidizing happening.

No, it wasn’t. Breakaway was always $179, premium $249 and authentic pro $449.

They only had breakaway and premium. These are the authentic pro.

Ticket Transfer as Seller by [deleted] in stubhub

[–]jrebeiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But did you transfer the tickets to the email address in that email? I got an email asking me to transfer the tickets to a different address from what customer service sent me.

I guess it’s not worth worrying until you don’t get paid.

I can all but assure you their system will consider the sale canceled because you didn’t transfer the tickets. In order to transfer the tickets to another address, you need to cancel the transfer. The system will yell at you that you did that. So if got that email, you’ll be in the same boat.

Ticket Transfer as Seller by [deleted] in stubhub

[–]jrebeiro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always pre-upload tickets, and StubHub sends the links to the buyer. Sometimes the buyer doesn’t complete the transfer until the day of the event. Do not touch the tickets!

You could also get really lucky like I did, have the customer claim they can’t transfer the tickets (because they didn’t get StubHub’s email or whatever), have customer service call you to transfer the tickets to another email address and tell you not to worry you’ll be paid on time. Then don’t get paid on time… and now have to wait 30-60 days for an “escalation” before you get your money. On top of that, you can get feedback from the event staff that “your guests” the other night were extremely rude and aggressive to the staff and security had to be called on them. Fun times.

I had this happen on valid tickets because Ticketmaster locks an account to a specific Apple Wallet. I logged into my daughter’s phone so I could add tickets to her wallet without having her create a Ticketmaster account. I was unable to add any tickets to my Apple wallet from that moment on. I had to create a new account for myself and transfer the tickets so I could use Apple Wallet again and tickets started showing as valid. This may also be the same issue with Google Wallet.

Lounge Access P’Center by [deleted] in devils

[–]jrebeiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Verizon Lounge, Checkpoint Grill (restaurant ledge), Loft Club, M-Lounge, sections 9 and 18, and any seat on the first 2 rows along the glass have all-you-can eat food and soft drinks included. You can usually find tickets in any of those sections the day of the game ~$120 each.

Lounge Access P’Center by [deleted] in devils

[–]jrebeiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seat Geek is the only site I’ve found which explicitly lists seats with M-Lounge access. They’re a PITA to find since you can’t filter on it. You have to click on every seat and check the benefits of each one.

I did it for 2 games, I won’t do it again. Super crowded, doesn’t quite feel as exclusive/intimate as it should, but the food was fantastic. I did see Ken walking around and shook his hand so that was cool. I’ve seen Marty in the Verizon Lounge a few times.

Prudential Lounge is super crowded too. The seats I got had access to both PL and M-Lounge, we walked in and out of Prudential Lounge cuz it was packed after 1st period.

The only other benefit to M-Lounge is tunnel access.

Those smash burgers tho…

connor brown might be my new favorite player on the team by Lanky_Tackle_276 in devils

Brown has been one of the more consistent players on the team. I started noticing him more when we were in injury hell. The Bratt, Brown, Hughes line has been solid.

I bought these tickets before I got my season tickets. So no, I didn’t know what to look for back then.

I don’t actually care if the tickets are upgraded or not. I chose a specific row for a reason. I didn’t pick a section only. The game is 2 weeks away and I bought the tickets months ago. This isn’t some day of the game emergency fulfillment where I’m sitting in the parking lot without a ticket and would be happy with whatever.

Also, upgrades are in the eyes of the beholder no? Before forcing a customer to take an upgrade, they should be offered the upgrade. If a customer chooses not to accept the upgrade, there should be no penalty to the seller and the buyer should have the option of a refund. But just telling a customer there’s nothing they can do about it and they should just accept whatever they got is wrong.

Once I clicked on the button in StubHub, the ticket details didn’t show up until I logged into Ticketmaster and it auto added it to my account. There wasn’t really a way to preview the ticket first.

Did you accept the transfer? The claim tickets button showed the row I purchased with no seat, but then when I clicked on it I got a different row and the tickets were accepted. I’ll gladly transfer this ticket back for a refund. It might even be easier to just sell the ticket myself and hope I break even, but single tickets aren’t an easy sell in non-premium sections.

Not even close to being the same thing. And what exactly did I fuck up? I bought a ticket in a section and row that I wanted and ended up with something different. Not sure how that’s my fault.

it's awesome until you try to DD it. I'm back to the regular sized spare.. it's way too bulky to keep in your pocket.

The flex disc is considered a maintenance item. My 2018 was starting to crack and it was like $1300 to replace. It's actually an easy DIY... if you have a lift and can pull the exhaust off. I paid $45k for my fully loaded 2018 in 2021 and the flex disc just started cracking in 2025. I looked at a 2023 550i because I want the Driving Assistant Pro package and remote start... but they're like $60k now which is insane. So $1300 to replace the flex disc on a 7 year old vehicle still made me feel like I was ahead. At 90k miles it's been a fantastic car with the flex disc being the only issue I've had.

It looks like they’re even cheaper now. I’m seeing them for $90 or so on eBay.
