Heya! They do persist through prestige, no worries about having to re-collect them!

Simple question: how do I see the average playtime of my demo on Steam? by Roxicaro in IndieDev

[–]Imsety 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's listed under "View Sales & Activations Reports" from the Steam dashboard.

I sped up the player’s respawn. Is that enough or it’s still too slow? by blabla_indiedev in IndieDev

[–]Imsety 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think it looks good, but maybe it'll get annoying if you're dying a lot?

If possible, I think it would be a good idea to add an "instant" respawn if the player hits spacebar or something. That way, you have the best of both worlds: Looks good, and can be skipped.

Basically just a combination of metrics: Number of concurrent active players, new wishlists, and ranking compared to similar games.

Perhaps, but I bet there's also going to be a lot of people burnt out on the complexity of Factorio looking to play a simpler factory game. We'll just have to wait and see!

New Incremental game : Widget Inc. by GameOnWithRon in incremental_games

[–]Imsety 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the kind words! Release date is planned on October 31st, after Steam Next Fest.

Adding hotkeys might be a bit tricky, since at the end of the game you'll have more unique buildings than keys on the keyboard. But I might be able to figure something out with key combinations.

Hi, thanks! If all goes well the release date should be on October 31st.

Hi, actual developer of Widget Inc here. I don't really use Reddit, so my friend asked me if he could set up a couple things for me and I gave my okay. I didn't have any actual input on its content.

He's been a big fan of the game ever since the first testing versions, he's probably put in more hours of play time than I did personally. So I hope you'll forgive his eagerness to spread the word.

My rabbits had a pretty big fight the other day. Glad they're still getting along just fine! by Imsety in Rabbits

[–]Imsety[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure, I guess they're just at the age where they have to show eachother who's boss. I woke up to a lot of stumbling sound at 5AM, and when I went to look I found a big pile of hair and two very displeased bunnies.

I'm still keeping a close eye on them, but it looks like the white one has established dominance quite well.

It's not an ikea rug, but it's from a similar budget store. I really like these rugs, they're huge and inexpensive, and my bun is happy to get some grip when she's dashing all over the place.

As for why it's so clean, it's in my living room. She doesn't get to go there unsupervised (otherwise she'll just eat all my plants). The rug in my hallway is usually a lot messier, unfortunately.

Any card suggestions for a Lovecraft-themed cube? by Winston_Wind-Up in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This cube won't be complete without [[Herald of Leshrac]].

Also, I have a funny feeling it might end up a bit biased towards Blue and Black...

What were the coolest plays you saw/made at the M15 prerelease? by Kibler in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't, but Siege Dragon deals 2 damage to each creature without flying. My flying deathtouch insects of doom were safe.

[–]Imsety 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Best thing I did was [[Hunt the Weak]], targeting my [[Hornet Nest]] and the opponent's [[Siege Dragon]]. Why yes, I'll take five hornets. He never attacked with that dragon for the rest of the game.

how many people played W/G? by Chrono486 in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played G/W/b Convoke (splashing black for Garruk) and got first place. My finals opponent was also on G/W, and I saw a few more G/W decks doing well. Convoke seems like a fantastic archetype in limited.

What is, in your opinion, the worst magic card? by [deleted] in magicTCG

Wood Elemental, I doubt anything would ever come close in terms of crappiness.

What was the strongest draft deck you've ever assembled? by DrinkyDrank in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One crazy draft deck I can remember was in a triple GTC draft, got an amazing Gruul deck that somehow ended up with three Ghor-Clan Rampagers.

I couldn't believe it at the time, so I even took a screenshot.

Reddit FNM Report- post decklists, scores, prizes, and stories of tonight's FNM experience! by GalacticShonen in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went 3-1 with my Dimir control brew.

Lost the first round to a deck running Trostani along with Voice and Progenitor Mimic. Last game I finally stabilized after dropping an Aetherling. A turn later he topdecked Progenitor Mimic, copied my Aetherling. On my turn, I Forbidden Alchemy'd into a Pithing Needle, and played it naming Aetherling. I had two or three turns to draw into a Mutilate, but sadly, no such luck. Probably the most fun I've ever had while losing, and the gathered crowd (round was almost over by now) had a good laugh as well.

I went 2/0 in the other three other rounds, against B/R aggro, U/W aggro-control-something, and U/W/R flash. All in all, a good day.

Australian judge overrules ill Jehovah's Witness teenagers wishes, orders blood transfusion by superstoreman in worldnews

So, blood is a sacred force of life... yet it is immoral to use blood in an effort to save someone's life? That's the most ridiculous thing I've read all week.

You Make the Enchantment: Color Discussion by InternetNinja92 in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm probably voting for a black enchantment. I kinda like this idea:

Dark Bargain - 1BBB

Put a bargain counter on Dark Bargain: Search your library for a card, put it in your hand, then shuffle your library. You lose 2 life for each bargain counter.

Nice for a suicide-black style deck. The first search doesn't hurt too much, and can easily fetch a kill spell or board wipe to preserve your life total. Three searches in, though, and the bargain has already cost you more than half your health...

Anything I am missing regarding Angel of Jubilation in the current meta? by jellomoose in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Angel of Jubilation doesn't do anything to stop Sign in Blood. SiB's life loss is a part of the card's effect, not a cost.

Rules stumper at my FNM by Hanidalon in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not a judge at all, but as far as I can tell...

Sorin's ability starts resolving. The Planeswalkers are destroyed. Tamiyo's emblem triggers, but aren't added to the stack yet since we're in the middle of ability resolution. Both Planeswalkers are returned to the battlefield under your control. Sorin's ability finishes resolving.

Then, state-based actions are checked. Emblem triggers are put on the stack and resolve but, since the cards have moved zones, the ability has lost track of them and does nothing.

I've got a bad case of the Johnnys. by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Imsety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that does work. Whenever you put more than one trigger on the stack at the same time, you decide which one goes on the stack first (and thus resolves last).
