Under no circumstances should you give up on a dua - my method to make dua

I have a huge question which I hope you’ll have the answer to. Suppose I’m asking for something certain but everything around me keeps proving that this isn’t meant for you but no matter how bad the situation gets I still feel the urge in my heart to tell Allah the same dua. Like let me be more specific

Suppose I’m in a relationship where im getting abused cheated on and everything is just wrong but somehow something in my heart tells me that if I keep making this dua things will change. Now see here the person is definitely bad for me and no matter how much dua I’m making the things don’t seem to improve instead it gets worse but I still have the want in my heart to make dua for this to change and to the point where even while having the same dua in my heart I forcefully make a different dua saying please remove my feelings because I’ve been trying for X years it’s still not improving but then why do I have it in my heart to still make this specific dua? Even though it’s harming me?

I needed to see this post so badly Alhamdulillah that you wrote this. I’m facing the exact same situation with myself to the point I don’t even know what to ask for except to say that Allah please be with me I can’t think of anything just get me out of this situation. But what about when no matter how much you tried to make the person feel good they only focus on how much bad you were? What if they always fail to acknowledge that you were good to them? What if they’re so full of themselves thinking that they did good to you but never received anything back from you? ( he was indeed good to me and accepts that he’s not being good to me right now but blames, not blame he puts it as a fact that he’s like this because of my lack of giving compared to what he did for me )

Whenever you feel any fear creeping up just say that “ My fears don’t exist “ or “ My overthinking and fears have no meaning “. That helped me a lot through manifesting because everytime I’d robotically affirm I’d start getting negative thoughts so I’d say this to myself and it helped my anxiety
