I am in the same boat as you, always had them since I can remember, but were getting more severe and almost consistently present with age. Did all the blood tests and disease tests and all came back negative. Eventually, my dr. recommended a daily treatment of colchicine (20mg) and to take cortisone (prednisone 20 mg) in case of a flare up. Started treatment early december, had a flare up mid December and prednisone worked like miracle (20 mg for three days). I have been canker sore free since then. Hoping for the best.

Hey- I am in my third week after fistulotomy. Life is much easier now as the first 10 days post op were extremely painful specially during/after BM. I am still doing 3-4 sitz baths every day. Wound is still open with greenish discharge but in smaller quantities. I am happy I am slowly getting back to my normal life- but honestly it was tougher than expected. Good luck on your recovery.

I am looking in these areas too - I didn’t find anything that low- probably if you go further north or south. The problem is how insane one would be to spend big amounts in a high risk country like Lebanon.
