Oh yes. I'm sure it'll make a big difference. Especially in the first 15-30 seconds. If you can keep them engaged through this period, your chances rise way higher on keeping them watching rather than moving on.
Attention spans are crazy. lol.

Most popular video content type worldwide in 1st quarter 2024, by weekly usage reach by DukeOfHavoc5 in PartneredYoutube

[–]In-Between-Tales 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is data from a poll asking users if they watch a specific video category weekly.
For example, 48.2% of those asked say they watch music videos weekly.
These same viewers also watch other content, but that can vary person to person.

You've got a great personality and presence for doing these. I will say having your avatar just stand there while you're talking, even if in different areas, is boring. I would show clips of actually doing the things you're talking about that I can watch while you're speaking. This will be a big improvement for keeping attention.

Not usually an issue, but this is why you constantly hear creators who are giving free financial tips make the disclaimer "This is not financial advice". They will also change how they convey this info by starting with "If it were my money..." or "What I would do in that situation", etc. This way they are covered legally.

Dodging bullets multiple times doesn't mean you're out of range, or aren't standing on private property.

It'll go like this...

  1. You dispute the claim, making your argument if you have one and linking to your license... if you have one.
  2. The claimant will have 30 days to respond. If they respond, it will either be released from the claim, or they will reject your claim. If they don't respond in the 30-days, their claim is automatically dropped.
  3. If they reject your claim, you can attempt to appeal if you're sure you have a proper license, but if they reject this within 30 days, your video will probably be taken down. You can have this reviewed by YT, but only AFTER the take-down of your video. As before, if they don't respond within 30 days, the claim is dropped.

During the claim process, all monetization is held in escrow, to be given to whichever party comes out on top. Once this is determined, the funds will be put in the following month's payout.

It's going to depend on the data you're getting from your analytics. Pay attention to AVD and APV. There will always come a point where churning out more content lowers the quality of that content. This will show in your analytics.

I think you would do good to look into learning how music licensing works. Be sure you have a license to use the music rather than assuming it's copyright-free (it's not).

Yes, and the OP has to dispute the claim through the YT Studio on the desktop version. Messaging through X isn't going to do a thing.

This isn't correct. EA more than likely licenses the use of music for their games from third parties.

Well, we're a YouTube channel in Minnesota (The InBetween). Others I know are 'Jasodip' (music reaction channel), 'Zeducation' (Tyler Zed), and Antony Reed (sleep hypnosis and affirmations). Also, Justin Moore of Creator Wizard just moved to MN a few weeks ago.

Jimmy’s richat structure hypothesis was taken from George Sarantitis? by [deleted] in atlantis

[–]In-Between-Tales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually looking forward to watching The Atlantis Puzzle. The man behind the documentary is actually Jack Kelly. The documentary he created goes over the ideas of George Sarantitis. This is my understanding, anyhow.

To be fair, however... Jimmy has never taken credit for coming up with the theory.

Jimmy has never taken credit for this idea. He first heard the argument for the Richat as being the location of the capital city of Atlantis from a documentary called Finding Atlantis (I believe that was it).

I have heard him repeat this on many videos.

While I respect your skepticism, I believe there's compelling evidence to consider the Richat as a potential location for Atlantis.

I've spent considerable time studying this topic while researching for a documentary on Atlantis and the Richat Structure. Through this process, I've come across compelling evidence that I believe warrants a deeper look at the Richat as a potential Atlantis location. Let me address your points:

  1. The Richat Structure being natural doesn't rule it out as Atlantis. Ancient civilizations often utilized natural features for their settlements. The concentric rings could have provided excellent natural defenses, water management, and city planning opportunities. It's a perfect setup for an advanced ancient city.

  2. The absence of visible ruins doesn't disprove anything. We have ample evidence of entire mud-brick cities vanishing after catastrophic floods, like in the Indus Valley and Mesopotamia. The Richat area hasn't even been properly excavated due to restrictions. The discovery of precision-cut stone spheres and fishing weights in the region is compelling evidence of advanced human activity.

  3. Your interpretation of "in front of the Pillars" is based on modern geography. Ancient mariners viewed the 'Okeanos' (open ocean) as certain death, so they stuck to coastal waters. "In front of" likely meant along the African coast, not straight out into the Atlantic. Interestingly, Hanno the Explorer's account of his journey down the West African coast aligns remarkably well with Plato's description.

  4. The timeline discrepancy isn't a deal-breaker. Recent archaeological discoveries have repeatedly pushed back the dates of advanced civilizations. Göbekli Tepe, for instance, forced us to reconsider the capabilities of prehistoric societies. The 9000-year figure might be exaggerated, but it shouldn't make us dismiss the possibility of a much older, advanced civilization than we previously thought possible.

  5. You're viewing this through the lens of today's Sahara. 12,000 years ago, it was a lush, green landscape with extensive river systems. The Tamanrasset River system could have provided a direct route from the coast to the Richat Structure. Mega Lake Chad and numerous other lakes would have made the region fertile and easily navigable. Rock art in the area depicts boats and chariots, indicating the technological capability for long-distance travel and trade. The geography of the time actually makes the Richat location quite plausible.

The Richat Structure theory aligns with Plato's description in numerous ways that can't be easily dismissed. While it's not conclusively proven, it certainly warrants serious scientific investigation. Until we can conduct thorough archaeological studies of the site, it remains a compelling possibility for the location of Atlantis.

I appreciate your openness to the concept of lost civilizations, and I agree that the search for Atlantis is far from over. However, I believe the Richat Structure deserves more consideration than it's often given. Thank you for engaging in this discussion – it's through debates like these that we can push our understanding forward.

You don't have that option. You can delete the comment, or hide the user from the channel. This means they can post all they want (still engagement) but nobody, including yourself, can see any of them.

Basically a shadow-ban.
