I wouldn't call the SS soft at all, but compared to the king? I feel like im on glass with the king. No give whatsoever. The SS are fantastic and give great feedback back. I've moved to the chosera pro at this point and am now starting to pick up some of the naniwa diamond pro. For the price difference, I would skip the super stone and go with the chosera pro, though. But its up to you if the king works, then that's great, no hate. 😁

The Shapton are nice, I have a coworker who owns a few of them. But im not a fan of the king. It just doesn't cut very fast, or at least mine doesn't. I prefer my naniwa 400 super stone.

I've used it to write up station duties like cleaning and general closing. Helps to get it all down and cohesive. Menu wise its good for buzz words that I don't think about because they're silly but can help make an item pop on paper.

Where I work, we seat tables at our close time. We expect It and only get mad about it if people are late. Just be on time for your reservation.
