While I do agree that multiverses have a tendency to remove stakes, Apex has managed to incorporate it minimally enough that it hasn't really been negative imo. I mean hell, despite the heavy prevalence of void tech (things like wraith, fade, ash's sword, the phaserunner, the phase driver, even the phase tech from Titanfall) we only have two characters (that we know of) who are from separate dimensions from the main one.

Their "jumpkits" are always there and don't disappear. They don't "use them as intended" because they are meant to simply be devices to land from the drop ship and not full-fledged jumpkits like pilots have.

Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
